I saw Leyland in Sydney during the 1980s playing with James Taylor. The always enthusiastic Waddy Wachtel was also in the band and his amp was too loud. Tactful requests to turn down were ignored so good old Leyland did the right thing and just walked over to his Marshall half stack and turned it down for him.
I'm sure Wachtel meant no harm he was just having too much of a good time forgetting that he wasn't the main man, I guess the Aussi guitarist sitting in appreciated Leyland's move.
He's got some kickass tone in this. He's about the LEAST type of a guy you'd expect to be a bass player, due to his looks! But I love it when people break stereotypes! :) He's cute and has a great sense of humor too. :)
I imagine Leland would look somewhat like George Washington w/o the beard, I was just thinking. :)

Great canadian craftmanship. Lee's buddy, guitarist Daryl Stuermer, also use great canadian-made gear: Godin Guitars
Leland seems so funny, I'm sure it's the kinda guy you want to have at your party if you're lucky enough to be friend with.

Lee's hilarious...and I've never seen him rock out like this before. I think he loves his bass. It SURE sounds great. And Sheldon's amazing.
