The American weapons actually seem quite simple, a lot like AK 47s. However, the Chimeran weapons are futuristic, and they are the ones used mostly in this part.

the weird energy rifle thingy is called the bullseye. its called that because you can tag a chimera, and move you gun away and then shoot. the bullets will then follow the tag were u shot it. its awesome, but in resistance 2 u can see through the walls.

@CrimsonBlood94 those things (if you read the book are metal dog tags from a bullseye rifle what makes them look like UFOS is probably the heat when fired from the gun if you dont understand bullets fire from gunpowder making them super fast and bullets ARE made out of metal and on there planet they probably have plasma (which is rare on earth) rather than gunpowder for the bullets making them even faster and having a glow onto them.

dont be afraid to use ammo in case you haven't noticed all the enemy hybrids are useing are the bullseye rifles, so ammo is almost every where! aslo learn how to use the tracers there is an actual reason it is called a bullseye rifle. not to metion you can get more tracers from the dead hybrids rifles.

Just when you thought you won the battle, something else OUT OF NO WHERE comes and you instantly LOSE.

The end shows the process in which the Chimera are made, and how the narrator meets the playable character...

I think I figured out the where the design of the villains come from: Cheezy, B-movie space alien, sci-fi and gothic horror. Like how God of War combined Greek mythology with gothic horror.
