  • Started radio in 1969 and played Nancy Wilson cuts... have always been surprised at how much music made since then sucks in comparison. Every once in a while, I do a nancy wilson marathon... including things I haven't heard before, or in a while. Great artist. Always worth a listen.

  • Nancy's talent grew over years and each decade went new places with great results but with no radio support for the greats since the sixties, only us fans knew...listen to this gem and weap we had no outlet on radio to play this masterful great performace...radio killed off this great music but now we have youtube to savor enjoy greats like Peabo & Nancy...real music from the soul!

  • Nancy Wilson still looks good for her age...kind of embarrased abit all this time I thought this was James Ingram singing with her...I tend to get there voices mixed up when they really dont sound a like...but this is up james ingram aliey...but they they all have beatiful voices#still a lovely song

  • Nancy Wilson, is, and always has been the embodiment of beauty, elegance and strength. She exudes the word, "lady" in her manner and in her work through her cool and velvety smooth style. If she's been "underrated", it's not due to lack of talent; she remained private vs becoming the "drama queen" many of her peers became. She's a diva in its truest form: regal, gracious and warm. It's no wonder she is so beloved by a loyal, "cult" following. Today's "talent" stands to learn volumes from her!!

  • I never thought of Nancy Wilson as underrated,She is one of our great pop-jazz singers. I Love her. This duet is interesting. It's wonderful to hear a new interpretation of Sondheim. It thrills me that I have tickets to see this lady in June. Patience will be my middle name for a while(It is already Nancy)

  • This is a beautiful duet!!! I love Nancy Wilson, her voice is like a cool night's summer breeze blowing threw a window over my sheet covered body just before I drift off asleep. Nancy should have received a number of lifetime achievement awards by now. Some of the people who win grammy's and perform on stage now. think they can sing but until notes comes out of their mouths like they come out of Nancy's they should sit back and take lessons. Thanks for this posting...

  • "Loving you is not a choice, is who i am" the first verse is already perfectly beautiful♫ :)

  • Thank you Zeniquez for this most beautiful of posts! It's new to me, and hence something I'll be back to visit frequently. Also, thanks to arbiter of all elegant clips, Stephan for having sent this my way!

  • Loving you is not a choice, It's who I am. Loving you is not a choice And not much reason to rejoice, But it gives me purpose Gives me voice to say to the world: This is why I live You are why I live. Loving you is why I do The things I do Loving you is not in my control. But loving you, I have a goal For what's left of my life... I would live, And I would die for you....
  • Great duet. Nancy one of the most underrated singers. Her body of work is phenomenal. Listen to RSVP album great stuff. JazzPublicist

  • Beautiful woman. Beautiful voice. Beautiful song. Peabo is fantastic...as always.

  • @luvmymusic12 LISTENING TO THIS MAKES ME WANT TO RELAX WITH A CANDLELIGHT DINNER AND A CHILLED GLASS OF WINE

  • God ....when will artists like these born again!!!

  • Sadly blunotte2000 they are born everyday but the 15 to 25yr old masses that record labels cater to are not interested in trully talented vocalist. They've been braiwashed into liking GARBAGE!!!

  • @1729prince YOU ARE RIGHT THIS IS GOOD MUSIC

  • @blunotte2000 I HOPE SOON I'M TIRED OF SEEING THESE UNTALENTED SINGERS GETTING ALL THE CREDIT

  • @blunotte2000 prolly neva

  • Wow I've never heard of Nancy Wilson...BUT SHE WAS GREAT!!!!!!!!!

  • She has to be one of the most under-rated jazz singers. You gotta listen to her early stuff (circa early 1960's). She does so much with notes. Makes every verse her own.

  • @Jkaneshige Agreed! Nancy Wilson can sing anything. I discovered her when I was a young girl in the late 60's. She had a "pop" song called "Face it girl...It's over". I loved that song. I played that 45 record so much I had to purchase it again. Needless to say, I was goin' through my first 'puppy love' break-up. I thought the world had come to an end...LOL! Today he is fat and bald...and I {still} look fabulous...LOL!!! Youtube has posted that NW tune...check it out, it's pretty neat.

  • AntmanJ,she is still alive.

  • @1meaka1 A LIVING LEGEND

  • I'd love to have heard her sing this with the late, great Johnny Hartman...

  • Thank you for sharing, it IS very beautiful! Grazie, Stephan, Giusi

  • Always happy to share great music with good people, G.:)

  • Stephan is this your account too Zeniquez??? I'm confused but thank you for this video. Nancy Wilson had been my favs since way back...

  • No.:)

Zeniquez created & posted this video.

I simply sent it to you/shared it with you.

  • Stephan, you're incredible! I'm so grateful to you for this superb Nancy Wilson beauty! Thank you for sending this my way. As for Zeniquez, what can I say? Your presentation of Ms. Wilson is beyond genius. You've shown her at most stages of her career. Used to think it was sad that I recalled all the stations of her illustrious life, thinking myself alone. Now I know there's "you" out there who's keeping the flame burning! Thanks again!!

  • Duh... thank you Stephan for sharing and ZENIQUEZ for posting!!!

  • I love Nancy Wilson, her performances are mesmerizing. And the duet with Bryson is like peaches and cream. Thank you for posting Stephan. 5/5 G*

  • Please add the words

"Stephen Sondheim" & "Passion"(the song's from his musical of that name) to the tag line so that more of his fans will find this song in their searches for it.

  • I've ALWAYS hoped that a jazz or r&b artist would record this wonderful Sondheim song!!
