@onenickelmiracle - Hey ... good question. I try to bring him when I visit a new casino. So ... you can expect him on my upcoming visits to Atlantic City, Las Vegas and Parx (Pennsylvania)! I don't often bring him out on the casino floor ... as players and casinos may be looking for celebrities. :)

Yeah the Original IGT game I remember in AC in 2007, the first year I started going there. There was one left in Resorts and two in Caesars, I don't recall seeing them anywhere else. They were gone by 2009. They were 9 line Nickel machines and everyone was getting more into Pennies as you know. I was doing some reading and it said it was done jointly as ShuffleMaster/IGT. The article also said that it was never marketed very well so it didn't last. I still think it was better than the Atronic.

Sorry I got my dates wrong, it was 2005 when I first started going to AC, I only saw them there for about a year so they were definitely gone after 2006.

@1wwtom - That's interesting ... kind of funny that ATRONIC would license an IGT "bomb". According to the official website, it does seem to have decent placement worldwide -- at least, when you consider the age of the game. As you might expect, it is not a difficult machine to get on.

I thought the Old IGT version was much better. More Stooge stuff in that one. Several different video clips I think. If I remember correctly, when you hit the 3 Bonus triggers, you got the "Hello, Hello, Hello!" in sequence. Also for each reel you got separate "Nyuk"s when each reel stopped. When I first found this Atronic game, I was very disappointed.

@1wwtom - Perhaps ... but I don't recall the IGT version getting the casino floor on fire ... but, I must admit, I have no idea if it was a hit game for them.

@777wully777 - There is plenty to like about their games ... however, it seems like their game production is "stalled" at the moment. Also ... I noticed the older titles do not get much play in Vegas. The bonus round can also be a little frustrating to get ... but all games have that issue!

@777wully777 - Hi 777wully777 ... thanks for the SOUNDTRACK! I forgot to credit you in the rush to get this one out the door! Yeah ... DIAMOND QUEEN also has the possibility of additional spins ... and the WILDS are on reels 2,3 and 4 ... so, it is a better arrangement. There were some ATRONIC games I liked as well ... the graphics and ergonomics of the eMotion cabinet was ahead of its time.

Hi Shamus: Thanks for showing me a game that I have never seen before! I loved the Three Stooges growing up, I mean who didn't right?! I have seen some old Atronic games before but never this one because I know if I had I most certainly would have sat down and played it.

@bowlbingo - IGT licensed the Stooges many years before Atronic. There also appears to be a popular online casino version of the game. I'm just a land-based player, so I don't have the details ... but I noticed plenty on Google.

Nice bonuses, Shamus. I wonder why slot manufacturers such as aruze and atronic don't branch out more...last time I was in Vegas I really enjoyed all the aruze varieties but I don't see them anywhere else.

@pgr1984 - There is a fierce amount of regulation around slot machines. Each and every machine on the casino floor needs to be tested and approved by a gaming lab for each jurisdiction. The approval process can take months and costs a lot of money. Sometimes the cost does not make business sense. Atronic had games placed in most jurisdictions .... then the parent company bought Spielo .... and it appears, they still have not recovered from the transaction.

@TheShamusOfSlots I think I played them at Allegany but not sure if they are still there. I havent been in over a year but yes they have different slots. I like Allegany's atmosphere and I hear they have Aruze slots too :) You should give them a go!

@bonappetit49 - Someone had requested this game ... and I stumbled on it ... so I played it. I had a little lucky streak here. I'm not sure if I would play it again, but it worked out nice for the video.

@snuggstaz - It's an older title ... and not easy to find. The bet is a reasonable 30-credits.  The game plays a little slower (since it is older). I can see where the bonus does not always hit. I got something deent every time .... but I think I was just lucky!

Great vids ... I, myself, love playing machines. Unfortunately, the casinos where I frequent, frown upon taping their machines. My favorite machine that I cannot enough of is Brazillian beauty.
