Taylor Hicks - always the whipping boy. But give him credit for selling 750,000 albums-all without radio play, a video, or prime time TV promo like the other idol alum have had.

I liked both, but honestly Adam will be more successful. He may not have won, but come on it's the 21st century. He's exactly what people like in an artist these days; just look at Lady Gaga. Adam not only has incredible stage presence, but an amazing, amazing voice.

Adam is often accused of "screaming" his songs, but anyone who understands real music would know that this is a false accusation. He simply has AMAZING range. If he really was screaming and that terrible, then the judges wouldn't have been telling him that he was amazing all season. They would have told him "Hey, you're screaming." But idk. I'm very proud of both.

I liked both, but honestly Adam will be more successful. He may not have won, but come on it's the 21st century. He's exactly what people like in an artist these days; just look at Lady Gaga. Adam not only has incredible stage presence, but an amazing, amazing voice.
And I thought it was extremely bitter and unprofessional of Clay Aiken to say what he wrote about Adam. If a singer can't recognize true talent of another artist then that's pretty sad.

Who knows- it's a crap shoot. They both will be successful in their own unique way. And frankly, my dear, I don't give a d@mn. In some ways Taylor Hicks is his own worse enemy. He puts out the type of songs that have limited audience appeal and continues to walk in the musical footsteps of his hero, Michael McDonald. He's turn down not only lucrative Broadway parts, but TV and movie parts too. So don't feel too sorry for him.

Kris will do better because more people are going to like his genre of music. People that love rock music will love Adam but the majority of people want to listen to mainstream music not screaming. I personally, prefer Kris :)

Adam! When Kris and Adam were singing side by side with Queen it was clear that Adam out-classed Kris. I love Kris too I think he's a good singer but he's easily forgettable unlike Adam. A few months after the show and all I've heard about is Adam Lambert - like his rolling stone cover etc etc, i haven't head much from Kris.

I personally think that each of them will do well. I think Kris will probably go a bit farther in the "making money" deal becasue his style of music appeals to a wider variety of people than Adam's does. In the "fame" department, however, Adam will go WAY farther because he's just...you know, Adam! I'm sure that he'll be making himself very public in the years to come.
I hope they both go far, as I believe that they both deserve it.

Its a wide variety with adam, he hits the slow song, the fast songs and definitly the high pitched songs are intense! He has a great talent and seriously is a gift from God.
I listen to him with a smile and ALWAYS have an adam song in my head :)

Adam will make more money by a landslide. Adam will do more concert type things then albums, albums, and more albums. Kris will kinda be that guy that makes the albums, but doesn't go on tour. I think Adam will make more money just because of his different side to the music industry. I do believe that the music industry will change just because of Adam.

Adam will be an icon one day. Kris will be a performer, and his music is likable and easy to listen to, but he does not have the inner drive and ultimate desire to have a worldwide destiny. Adam's goals are a lot tougher to achieve and he is already being hounded by papparazzi and the world, but I believe he has a genuine heart and is driven beyond belief to show you can be different and still be out there rockin' for the world. i.e. Elvis vs. Ricky Nelson

The controversey on if the voting was "rigged" was because at&t supposedly gave lessons to kris allen fans in AR on how to send multiple texts at a time. I'm a huge adam fan so personally i think he has more fans. the problem was, even though he had more fans kris's fans voted more because they supposedly got the lessons. therefore, kriss allen fans arent gonna buy multiple of his cd's like they voted multiple times. if adam has more fans he'll sell more albums!!!

I'm very proud of Kris Allen and Adam Lambert because they both made it to the finale, but i do believe that Adam should've won. Adam is often accused of "screaming" his songs, but anyone who understands real music would know that this is a false accusation. He simply has AMAZING range. If he really was screaming and that terrible, then the judges wouldn't have been telling him that he was amazing all season. They would have told him "Hey, you're screaming." But idk. I'm very proud of both.
