  • We only have canine teeth to use as opportunistic Omnivores but our diet should be a ratio of 70:30 - Raw Fruit, Veg & Nuts : Meat (if not 90:10)

    Anyway, although I'm from the UK, this whole obesity thing is a worldwide problem. You guys in the US get it tough sometimes cause all the focus is on you - it's pretty bad over here to (and getting worse).

    If people are worried about a lack of protein they need to do more research into exactly WHAT protein is (Hint: Google 'Amino Acids' & how the body uses them). Also, YouTube 'Raw Vegan Bodybuilder' if you want to bulk-up - it's VERY possible.

    Also, not sure how anyone can dispute that the body is designed for eating Fruit & Vegetables - kinda baffles me. What do they think we evolved from? Hello!!!!? We only ha

  • Let me first say that I don't eat meat. But, this video is a load of bullshit. You provide NO peer reviewed scientific literature, NO data, and don't prove anything. Yes we need to eat healthier, but you never demonstrate that raw is a good way to do that.

    Also, just as a comment, stop saying livining things were "designed", it makes you sound like a creationist.

  • @badpanda84 There are vegan sources of protein such as hemp. Do a Google search to find more sources. There are vegan body builders here on YT.

  • @badpanda84 the what about protein question is really a misconception about proteins you think you are getting from sources that traditionally have been positioned as being such. This is a complete falacy. Do some research to understand that Amino acids are what you derieve from proteins and that you wil arrive at a much higher level of them from spinash and other various greens when eaten raw. Cooked foods and in particular animal products really are not protein rich at all. Do the research

  • @badpanda84 lol, love ur username ;) Eating 'protein' does not create protein in your body... AMINO ACIDS create protein in your body, get the right amount of amino acids (especially the essential ones) and you will have no problem whatsoever with building healthy muscle mass... When you eat plants you are eating protein, that's what makes up the cell walls.. protein!

  • This is also good incentive to start growing some of our own food and quit relying on someone else to do what is necessiary for our life. I heard "Earthbox" is a good product and method, prevents soil erosion, water evaporation, and it's portable. I seen some YouTube vids about it.

  • Many persons make wrong food choices. That includes going 100% raw, 100% vegan, 100% juicer, 100% water diet, 100% whatever---it's rarely best. Why? Extremist lifestyles always come crashing down at some point. And with it much stress when straying from the strictly 100% path. It's like religion & going to church every Sunday. Miss a Sunday, you start making excuses &

    Think about it. Moderation is less stressful, more fun means more freedom & a healthier all-over lifestyle!

  • Very good points to consider about processed food. I tried but I couldn't find much with which to fault. I remain about 60 - 70% raw in my diet. I love the natural flavor of fresh fruit & veggies. I've juiced for nearly 50 years, I've taken nutritional suppliments for all of my life (my family owned several health food stores when I was a teenager so I learned healthy habits young).

    At 62 I'm still vrbrantly healthy & active. But I refuse to go 100% raw. Moderation rules my dietary choices!

  • I'd say I'm eating at least 50% raw (volume-wise) at the moment.

  • Unfortunately im the opposite, my body still craves those foods even though my mind knows how bad they are for me. I've been vegan for 2-3 months and 100% raw for a couple days and my body still wants those foods. Hopefully i'll forget about them in a year or so ^^

  • 2-3 months is nothing. Keep at it and I guarantee you will forget all about the bad stuff.

  • Any food that is not raw is not broken down by the body and there is stored as toxins in the body. As far as the semen production goes, you may want to consult a urologist.

  • Could someone clear up a misconception for me, is raw meat part of raw foods philosophy? I've been told this, but doesn't meat need to be cooked? Forgive me if my ignorance offends anyone - I don't know anything about nutrition.

  • Some people who are raw do in fact eat raw meat. For those who are raw vegan, they do not consume any meat or animal products at all.

  • no its not. it is strongly discouraged to eat raw meats. raws meats, even before being cooked, contain many bacterias than can only be removed when cooked. when u eat this raw meat, ur putting these harmful bacterias in your body which can lead to illness or even death

  • As I stated, SOME people do eat raw meat. RAW VEGANS do not consume any type of animal product. Have you ever heard of steak tartar? And bacteria isn't the only thing that's wrong with meat.
