  • Actually I think Mos Def has a point. Lets say the nightmare scenario comes true and a non-state actor detonates a nuclear devise in an American city, how could we retaliate with nuclear weapons? Who do you drop it on? In essence, in the current age, these weapons serve no purpose for nation-states other than to deter other nation-states. So I think Hitch and the other guy's argument carries no water.

  • Neil deGrasse Tyson

  • mos def dumb mother fucker "opahimer"

  • I love how uncomfortable Rushdie and Hitchens get when Mos Def starts talking about Martin Luther King. P.S.- they are intentionally being difficult because they assume he's unqualified to be talking about this subject. (Which it sounds like he is...)

  • how can anyone argue with hitchens. i don't agree on everything with hitchens, but still i wouldn't argue about it. he could defend his idea better than i do.

    rip hitch. we miss you.

  • The top two comments are indicative of white people wanting to shut a black person up and tell him to go back to being a minstrel.

  • @cannedkitty you can interpret the above as a black/white issue if you please. But the fact remains that mos def does speak the most and is by far the least articulate about an issue he seems to lack a full understanding of.

  • @jnutztbb No, mos def brought up good points but everyone here is suckered into Hitchen's British accent or Rushdie's vocabulary. Hitchens and Rushdie could have made idiotic points and everyone here would still think they're smart because they speak appropriate white language. mos def doesn't have a big voculabary but it doesn't mean he's dumb. People just came to this video with their preconceived notions that white=educated, black=ghetto. It's a normal mistake. It sucks tho

  • @cannedkitty Mos Def is not dumb and is a talented hip hop artist but, I don't see what good points mos def raises here? He states that Iran has a right to nukes because "other" nations have them and also that there should be complete disarmament. Well which one is it? Furthermore in the limited footage in this clip Mos def fails to acknowledge that radical islamic elements threaten nuclear war and the destruction of Israel which is a major reason Iran can't be allowed nukes.

  • @cannedkitty he defenitely had good points, but he doesn't know how to back them up.

  • Ghandi said the Eye for and Eye thing..

  • Japan wasn't/isn't communist. Also what was the problem with the US defeating Japan the dame way they defeated Germany???? They didn't have to defeat them with nukes. I say that to say this........... all nations no matter what religious or political motives they have should disarm their nukes. This nuclear thing isn't just a political, relgious or power thing........ it's a human thing due to the fact that it could kill us all. Wake up people!

  • @Jones025 Because 10 million Germans died from the Allied Invasion and only 200k civilians died from the bomb.

    Thats why.

  • @Jones025 An invasion into mainland Japan would have been a terrible folly with far more casualties. Google the firebombing of Tokyo for example was already under way killing thousands. Imagine if the US had invaded mainland Japan and destroyed the entire countries industry, their people and their own soldiers. The second bomb arguably should not have been dropped, though.

Modern war is no longer between industrialized nations, this is because of nuclear weapons.

  • @Lulzalutioners the first bomb was for japan the second was for russia!

  • I agree with Mos Def. How can the US say that certain can't have nuclear weapons due to a possible "nuclear threat" from them. However the US is a the only country in history that has used them against other counties i.e Hiroshima/Nagasaki. So who's are the real terrorist? Could it be the country that bullies everybody, tries to dictate and control what other countries do and has used Nuclear weapons. I mean really people we need to wake up and see things for what they really are!

  • @Jones025

    Dude...

Imagine what could of happened if the U.S didn't use those nukes. Russia-China-Japan-Korea -> If that happened, how many countries do you think would be communist countries today?

  • @Brosnbroccoli Most. It is a shame it did not happen

  • @Jones025 countries are not all the same. we are talking about an islamic fashistoid theocracy who is going nuclear and you busy yourself with self-flagellation? i mean how decadent is that? you think you are safe anyway? or are you religious or what? well i'm afraid. i fear those muslim fanatics. i think they are crazy. big time crazy! you don't let them flurish and do appeacement until they run you over? we are not that untouchable.. wake up yourself!

  • Christopher Hitchens, Salman Rushdie and Mos Def, who thought that was ever going to be a good idea

  • I like Mos as a rapper / actor, but in the presence of Hitchens he needs to shut the fuck up.

  • It's rather sad the audience started laughing as soon as he started talking.

  • Whom ever got that guy to debate about serious things let alone debate with Christopher Hitchens has a seriously funny sense of humour.

  • @Eralun It was Bill Maher

  • Mr. Definitely doesn't deserve such company.

  • lol at mos def.

  • Mos Def, Ron Paul and I thought Bill Maher have the best point.

Why should we deny Iran nuclear weapons when the US and co have thousands of them?

  • What a bunch of fucking douchebags there are on here that are some combination of elitist/racist. Bill Maher, though claiming to not want anything to do with religion, is Jewish and VERY biased towards Israel. Rushdie, because he was born Muslim, is the best friend/poster boy for people with anti-Muslim sentiments due to extremists wanting to kill his ass, etc.. Hitchens in his later years became highly pro-Israel and even Neo-con'ish. Basically, it was 3 against 1. Yes, Mos Def (continued)

  • @ActaNonVerba71 (continued) does not talk like an intellectual white guy. Yes, Mos Def does not wear a suit. But, he definitely did not come across as dumb and he most certainly has no obligation to feel some kind of great awe to be in the presence of the almighty white intellectuals. What a fucking condescending bunch of idiots on here. Shame on you. In fact, given what he started with and what he's been up against, Mos Def's accomplishments hold up quite well against these guys END.

  • @ActaNonVerba71 hes a stupid nigger like you...NIG?

  • @ActaNonVerba71 he didnt listen to what they said, he came in there unprepared, though he knew what the discussions was about. He should have paid more attention to that he would be there in discussion with three intelligent people, and yes, he came off as dumb.

  • @fluffynoses I somewhat agree. The nuclear science required to build a bomb is 70years old. Modern tech has removed a lot of the problems too.

We have to face it that countries we may not like may naturally on their own develop nuclear technologies no matter how many sweeteners we through them.

Israel's mistake was not watching the clock. It should have seen that one day it's poorer neighbours would master 1940's tech and planned for peace. Similar to how Britain treated America after 1812.

  • The problem with nuclear disarmament is the possibility of another world war becomes possible. Without the nuclear deterrent, another war is inevitable, then once the war starts, the nukes get made again. We can dismantle all the bombs, but we can't rid of the knowledge of how to build them.

  • @christo930 The world wars were orchestrated and allowed to happen. But yes, the idea that no bombs are the solution is much like anti-gun protestors thinking that murder was the result of bullets and not human intent as if we didnt use swords, hammers, axes, knives, spears, sledge hammers, bows etc, before.

  • @Maniac50AE I agree with you about the gun control being idiotic and not the cause of human violence. My main point is that full nuclear disarmament will almost certainly allow another large scale war to start, then once it starts, there is nothing to stop governments from building and using nuclear weapons. At least by having the nukes, we avoid large scale ww2 level wars amongst industrialized nations.

  • Here we see a lovely bloke (mos def) who wasnt fortunate enough to have a good education, makin greally good points, being beaten up by the articulacy of public school wasters, who are shits, but went to the finest schools.

    Make yourself articulate good people.

  • @iBeep2009 I agree, although he's not as eloquent and screws his facts up, but his simple point stands.

  • I like it how Mos Def takes his hat off towards the end- he knew he looked incompetent against the HITCH!

  • Hitchens is blacker than Mos Def is!

  • Hitchens is blacker than Mos Def is.

  • I agree with Mos Def.

  • Mr. Hitchens (not Hutchens) will be greatly missed and his message of free inquiry and skepticism not forgotten. For some reason, Mos Def's passing comment about digging up uranium and steel struck me most. It was either a good summary of the depth of his ignorance, or my OCD ear. Though I don't think knowledge of steel being an alloy should count as OCD, just common knowledge. I believe everyone should be allowed to sit at the table of debate, but only when prepared for their sake.

  • I guess you could say that he

    *puts on shades*

Mos Def-initely made a fool of himself.

  • @TheFartoholic yeeeaaaaaaaaaaah

  • ........It kinda looks like there ganging up on the black guy

  • Every time Mos Def opens his mouth I feel drunk

  • @dellroy301 His opinions and points were so fucking stupid, regardless of the color of his skin.

  • Mos Dumb is making a point of some sort possibly in that his point is pointless!

  • People Give Mos Def a chance to speak whats the point of him being invited in the talk show if that fat, ugly, sweaty bastard christopher whats his face doesnt let him get his whole view point across?

  • @67eMz Hitchens is a real person.

  • @67eMz i dont know what debate you were watching but mod def did the most talking in this video

ud think that would be enough time him to get his whole point across...

  • @67eMz Mos Def has no point. And if he did have one, I don't think he could articulate it on even a 3rd grade level. They should've just brought in a homeless guy of the street.

  • @Nem33 well at least when kids who speak at a 3rd grade level they are the easiest to understand and this is in Mos Defs case is well, and (just in case you didnt notice) Mos Def is an american is well and he knows were his country is going wrong and since america is renound for their so called "big man" status its about time an american stood up for their own country and tells then on national t.v where they are swerving wrong.

  • Hitchens is a pimp

  • Wow, Mos Def comes across as a jackass here.

  • Chernobyl wasn't nuclear weapons it was energy. He should most definetely stick to music.

  • @pragmatismnotidealis Chernobyl was the result of the irresponsible use of nuclear power by a Western country, that was entirety of his point. It is the shamefully weak tactic of the sophist to focus on minutiae in order to distract from the major point at hand. Neither Hitchens nor Rushdie nor anyone here addresses the main point: You can't create an atmosphere of fear and terror then cry victim when your enemies speak to you through fear and terror; which is the true issue here.

  • @iArsalan Chernobyl was the result of a shoddy soviet planned and built power station not human irresponsibility, or 'irresponsible use'. As for fear and terror, What about the ottomon (muslim) empire that slaughtered tens of millions and existed centuries before the west had ever set foot in the middle east? Surely that was an 'atmosphere of fear and terror'? Oh wait, the west cant be blamed, lets dismiss it.

  • @pragmatismnotidealis You statements on Chernobyl prove my point, "shoddy" = irresponsible. Furthermore, the Ottomans were Turks coming from the steppes of central Asia and Eastern Europe. They were a Western society built on a western social paradigm. They were despised by the Muslims of their day throughout their empire. They were known as nothing more than European barbarians engaged in unyielding war.

They even adopted the symbol of western power of their time, the Star and Crescent Moon.

  • @robthc23 actually atheists are very differnt from religous people. We are actually very open to others opinions which is why we debate creationists nd listen to their notions. The fact that creationists bring no solid arguements on their behalf, while we bring in piles of evidence shows that we have much more of a right to say wut were saying is the truth. Also wut you're insinuating is that religion and atheism are on equal terms, which it most definitely is not. Facts always beats speculation

  • @djb907 'we athiests' ermmm im an athiest . you don't speak for me. sounds religious almost

  • The kind of naive, idealistic idiocy Mr Def is flaunting here, believing that everyone will play fair just because one has been raised to keep to such values (and more importantly expect them) is what allows evil to prosper in this world.

  • I'm embarrassed for Mos def. He clearly has no business being in this panel and he would have been better off keeping his mouth shut, instead he babbled like a baby making only the most trivial of points. The fact that he received any applause at all makes me cringe.

  • Mos Def is simply st.pid

  • Mos Def was most definitely in over his head.

  • @elfbride I think you are over your head, a fool should shut up

    so plz

    shut up

  • @djb907 While atheism is not a religion! The people who believe in it are no different than people who believe in religion, you all think your opinions are the truth and don't wanna here otherwise...I mean listen to your statement "I'm an atheist and atheism isn't a religion its a fact" That disables you from being subjective and open to your own beliefs, which will in turn disable you from further knowledge! The point you and your 3 buddies are making is,were right and your wrong!

  • @robthc23 It is a fact Atheism isn't a religion. It's defined as such. You can make an argument that Atheists have a "religion"-type belief structure but it isn't the fact that they are Atheist.

  • @dakotadenverdexter Ah but these men aren't Atheist, they're Anti-theists. They hold a strict "belief system" that there is no God and now power in the world greater than that of man. They don't have any discernible moral code or system of ethics, but they do have articles of faith and they actively and dogmatically proselytize.

They are priests of the religion of the self.

  • The quote that Mos Def pulled is from Gandhi, not MLK

  • I dunno about you guys but i've heard another group voicing their support for the use of WMDs against other nations all the time...US conservatives are always on about how we should nuke Iran and Iraq and N.Korea. I was arguing with a guy on Soda Head about American debt to China a while back....this guy said if America defaulted and China tries to take what is owed then "we'll jus nuke em". I know its gna sound retarded but Hitchens was wrong and Mos Def (whoever he is) made 1 or 2 good points.

  • Mos Def is a idiotic boob....

  • @Summoner10 pause at 3:34. Mad funny. PS: He's still a great entertainer even if he believes the world is flat as far as the middle east and terrorism is concerned.

  • Mos Def Is most definantly an ignorant foolio. Completely out of his league.

  • Mos def for president

  • im with mos def , open your eyes , america is ruled by zionist masons and if you love america you should join the revolution to fix the system not to support the problems

  • @0:04 smart part of crowd laughs as mos def, rapper, begins to introduce his opinion on nuclear...proliferation. I like mos def but that's a seriously complicated subject. 'No war, myaaan.' Ok, what form of resource allocation would avoid such conflicts, rapper?

  • "'An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind' Martin Luther King said this."

    No. Gandhi did.

  • @tontyismynameyeh So did Martin Luther King.

  • @tontyismynameyeh yes he did say it, but he was quoting Gandhi.

  • @tontyismynameyeh

Actually, theres no proof that Gandhi ever said it. For some reason people seem to think he said he, but he actually didn't. It is, however, connected with his philosophy, because Louis Fischer used it when he, in a biography about Gandhi, used the expression when talking about his approach to conflict.

Martin Luther king did use it in his book 'Stride towards Freedom'. It was first written in the bible, in The Book of Exodus.

  • @Brosnbroccoli Im glad someone know something

  • @Brosnbroccoli Im glad someone know something

  • @tontyismynameyeh Gandhi was a sarcy cunt.

  • i cant understand 70% of what mos def is saying but...

he does look like the kid panthro and chitara would have if they ever had sex

just for that he deserves some respect

  • Mos Def is an idiot. An absolutely idiot.

  • finally bill maher told mos def to shut up and let someone else talk

  • Haha Maher at the end "Alright. Shut up everybody.."

  • Who gives a fuck what Mos Def thinks really

  • @Seldomsleeper Who gives a fuck what Hitchens/Rushdie thinks really

  • @10ccalanarkush I Do, Hitchens was a great man. Humanity is much worse off because of his death.

  • @10ccalanarkush Rushdie is teh best.

  • "Mr. Def ... Can I call you that?"

    money.

  • Mos Def said a Ghandi quote (an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind) and said it was MLK!

  • mos def...need i say more?

  • Mos def is an idiot.

  • @omz323 racist.

  • Comment removed

  • @godzilladacrazykilla No he's an idiot because he has no idea what he's talking about and completely misses the point made by Salman Rushdie.

  • I'm pretty sure Ghandi said the an eye for an eye thing well before MLK did.

  • The world is a little bit scarier without Christopher Hitchens.

  • Because we don't call for the death of millions of people.

  • mos def was on point

  • @mohab18

I'll give you a contradiction of mos def. Mos Def once pretended to be atheist by calling out the BS and hypocrisies of "the church" and seemed to be talking about religion as a whole, but instead he was only talking about Christianity. Not just catholics, or protestants, but ALL christians. He later began to talk about Islam and how it was truth and this and that, even though Islam has just as much, if not MORE bs than Christianity

  • Socrates said to pretend to know everything is the biggest mistake a man can make, Mos def is asking questions which majority of the people would like to ask but don't because they fear looking stupid in front of smug wannabe intellectuals like Salman Rushdie and Hitchens.

Knowledge is what you read in books but it will not make you wise,

  • @ikstarsan the way he's asking the questions is quite obnoxious tbh.

  • only one group in the world who want to get their hands on nuclear weapons to use them? History definitely doesn't agree with you Mr. Hitchens... Ummmmm when was the first and only time a nuclear weapon has been used ? August 6, 1945!!! By THE UNITED STATES!!!! So who's the terrorist insane religious fucktard now..... hmm

  • Comment removed

  • @SweeeetLife He was talking about right now, not 1945. Right now, this one group wants to get nuclear weapons and detonate them. If the United States wanted to detonate nuclear bombs right now, they could. They don't want to. He is drawing attention to a current group of people who want to engage in mass murder.

  • Islam on trail again :-) Islam the new Black?

  • Read the title and just laughed out loud. Poor Mr. Definitely, didnt stand a chance.

  • watching mos def is almost as brutal as watching that family guy episode when brian goes on real time!

  • @jcolekendricklamar Im not being arrogant im telling the truth. Sorry if your offended by it but the truth is the truth and theres no way around it. Also, atheists dont say its disrespectful wen religious ppl say that there is a god so why should it be disrespectful the other way around. ppl like u are so narrowminded

  • lol wut?!! why the hell do you say hitchens wud agree with oreilly. Your an idiot for that becuz hitchens is an independent thinker and in no way similiar to that right wing propaganda spreading asshole. seriously you've probly never even heard of hitchens before have u. Read one his books or something

  • "Mr. Definitely, if I can call you that?" God he's a genius debater

  • Stupid audience (studio) and stupid guest (Mos Def).

  • How is it that Hitchens' was probly half in the can but Mos Def is the one that sounds like a babbling drunk? Can Mos Def talk for 5 minutes without mentioning Martin Luther or the Black Panthers?

  • The idea that only the only people who want to use nuclear weapons are theocracies ignores the fact that the only nation in history that have ever used nuclear weapons on other people is constitutionally secular. It's nonsense to assume that theocracies are the only place you'll find people insane enough to actually drop an A-Bomb.

  • @Jcolekendricklamar watching this, it kinda makes me lose respect for mos def. this dude missd the point and completely went off topic talkn bout martin luther king, and conspiracy theories like that. i agree with u he is a poetic creative genius but there's a big difference between a creative and an actual genius (christopher hitchens). wut really makes me mad is wen he said everyone has a religion. im an atheist and atheism isnt a religion its a fact. we dont believe in science we've proven it

  • @djb907 What you just said was arrogant and disrespectful to everyone who believes that there are any gods at all. "im an atheist and atheism isnt a religion its a fact. we dont believe in science we've proven it" Well thanks for telling us religious people how much of a retard we are.

  • stupid nigger

  • @Jcolekendricklamar first of all luv ur name, glad that there are ppl who can recognize real rap out there but i gotta say mos def definitely lost the argument. he completely missd the point, hes basically assuming that irans trying to create nuclear weapons and hitchens corrects him saying theres absolutely no proof they're trying to create weapons but they just wanna create nuclear energy plants. now theres a big difference between the two and its a good thing hitchens pointed it out.

  • @djb907 I said Mos Def lost the debate. Anyway, if Christopher Hitchens were with certain people (Bill O'Reilly) he would agree that Iran is creating nuclear weapons.

  • Just pay attention to the fact that Mos Def and others are atleast talking about it. The fact that he's willing to sit there and get schooled says a lot about him. Even if it was in one ear and out the other :p

  • Plus, what's this obsession with pwning? Here we have a guy one side of the debate, a guy on the other, and a third guy in the middle yet leaning to one side, and they're just intelligently discussing a topic. 6 minutes is hardly enough time to delve into the topic at any serious depth, much less enough time for somebody to get OMG PWNED.

  • @SoAandFriends Wrong, he's on these shows because he has a liberal view point that Maher liked. Also he's a musician first then actor. However the point is, that though maher likes some of his liberal views, he doesn't really care for the guy having them because he's a muslim devotee with way too many hypocritical points.

  • @convictPKlol "You didnt give any in depth analysis. you just put your finger in your ear and went "NANANANANANA MOS DEF IS WRONG NANANANANA"."..... This, coming from the in-depth analysis of a man who opened with: "Mr Hitchens" is a total dickhead.". Hmm.... Methinks you are a hypocrite.

  • @DancinJim Really? I thought it was implied when I post it in the comment sections of a video where he was being a total twat.

Ok, mr pedantic, here is my analysis. He is rude when he refers to Mos Def as "mr definately", he purposely attempts to isolate Mos Def by agreeing with Salman Rushdie specifically, Bill Maher and then attempts to make Mos Def look like an idiot by misquoting him when he said "nuclear TECHNOLOGY", and assumed he meant warheads.

    Is that in depth enough?

  • @Ecocide112 Irrelevant what the rebuttal was... The fact you think Mos Def was right says it all. You don't have a clue.

  • hitchens vs. talib kweli would've been so much better

  • 0:03 I like the laughter-track accompanying his opinions.

  • Bombing for peace. is like lieing about the truth it does not make sense, forget all the other arguments people analyse things way too much when the answer is black and white in your face,at the end of the day what America and what these western countries are doing to iraq libya iran and afghanistan IS WRONG think about how many people are dieing everyday and they try to justify it by blaming it on religion when it was their own greed that started these wars and conflicts

  • Mos Def is an example of a very common type of person whose thoughts consist entirely of things found on motivational fridge magnets.

  • @thomasjackdavies or presidential nominees ....... ron paul.

  • @thomasjackdavies haha, too true

  • What a simpleton. I'm offended that he even got to speak in the presence of two such brilliant minds.

  • Wow I'm merely impressed that Mos Def actually managed to monopolise a discussion with two of the foremost intellectuals of our time...

  • massive fan of mos def's music, but boy did he come across as a giant cunt on this.

  • They just brought in the black guy for the lolz

  • At 5:24 it sounds like Hitchens sings "Did you seeeeee..."

  • @buzzkick

hahahaha i caught that too, i had to go back. his hand is outstretched like he's an opera singer lol

  • nuk-le-er......see bush isn't the only one who can't say it.

  • It was Ghandi who said an eye for an eye....

  • Mos Def a fucking idiot

  • Christoper Hitchens was a fucking prat.

  • A country which has broken 66 UN resolutions, Massacred 1000s of Palestinians, Created an aparthied state, Sponsors state terrorism, Illegally assassinates civillians of soveriegn nations and posesses nuclear weopons provided by the US, Ignore Israel but condemn Iran? Sounds like the same bullshit anti Iraq rhetoric we were fed a decade ago. Christopher Hitchens is yesterdays news, "Literally" & Salman Rushdie is to journalism what Jodie Marsh is to media, An attention seeking little cunt!

  • So thankful this didn't turn out to be a rap battle.

  • "Your faith may be not having faith" "Some peoples religion is they atheism" I think this shows how desperate he got. He got caught in a lie. It's like saying "Your violence may be non violence" How deliciously Orwellian of him.

  • Bravo to (th least) Def...so easy to see who has substance and Heart and who doesn't...i'm glad i can't understand what Chris-gopher has to say, it's a time when I'd be very happy to be Def.

  • RIP Hitches, but he was an idiot. 3 vs one, Anti islamic Propaganda.

  • "Mr. Definitely"

  • imagine they had to live together, for a year, on TV.

  • mos' mind and heart is in the right place, he just needs to research properly into the topic before participating in a debate which the other 2 (esp Rushdie) have a strong understanding of; he's too emotional with his points and hitchens is too intellectual; poor rushdie is a balance between these two extremes!

  • rip christopher hitchens

  • condescending assholes

  • i hate white ppl! and salmon's arayan ass counts. they ARE paranoid! and Mos is right abt their religion (nonreligion) they won't fess up to.

  • @TheRealTooney

    i hate niggas like that

  • arsenalrock111, just another black idiot who's is butt hurt that Mos def (who thinks is a genius) got owned by a real genius

  • @TheReaITooney lots of us are black and are not idiots were happy to see hitchens counter the anti intellectualism and conspiracy theorizing that is so popular in america that just happens to embodied in this case by mos def, but is perpetrated by plenty of white idiots just as well...so pleae don't be racist, idiocy knows no race.

  • @Twistednerver Sure it does. It seems to be pretty damn prone to humans and dogs.

  • @joegt123 lol if youre saying blanketly, humans are I sd iots youte fooling yourself and you dont believe it

  • @Twistednerver It was a joke. Also, I don't believe anything.

  • @joegt123 Lol good man.

  • @Twistednerver I didn't say all idiots. I said "black idiot". He is an idiot, one of those "Oh mos is a fuckin philosopher". SO yes he's a black idiot. Anyway Mos is wrong and thinks islam is 100% innocent

  • @TheReaITooney It's sad that this is the most thumbed-up comment on such a good video. "...just another black idiot..." Well that was racist. The valedictorian of my senior class was African-American. Also, when Christopher Hitchens or Salman Rushdie can write a poem half as good as Mos Def can, then they can be considered "real genius"'s. Yes, Mos Def got out-debated, but that doesn't mean you have to throw racism in there.

  • @jcolekendricklamar If you've looked at his comments he is an idiot. And he's black. He has such fucked up thinking. If he were white and an idiot I'd call him a right idiot.

Mos dumb is a retard and if anyone thinks a musician with opinions can actually spell facts or evidence, they're not that smarter than him

  • @TheReaITooney Mos Def is most famous for being a musician, but he appears on these shows in through other connections. He's an actor first and a musician second (though it might seem that's all one big boiling pot of "entertainment industry") and the film industry is what led to him meeting and interacting with various respected media figures that verify he's very intelligent and articulate.

  • @SoAandFriends You're trying to equate him with somebody like Kanye West (who might legitimately suffer from a mental disorder, totally serious and no humor there, aside from being generally uninformed) but fact just doesn't back that up.

  • @TheReaITooney Have you ever listened to any Mos Def at all, because he is a poetic genius and Mos Def only started losing the debate at a little before 6:00 when Hitchens began. Rushdie was completely wrong as was Hitchens when they said that there is no other group wanting to obtain a nuclear weapon so that they can immediately detonate it. I know of plenty of Fundamental Christian Terrorist organizations that would use such a weapon on the Middle East. That was innacurate.

  • @TheReaITooney

Who do you even consider a "Genius" Bill Maher? he is probably the dumbest person sitting there, he prefers his own opinions and ignores others, and in the end says " I am just a comedian" then joke on him no one takes his opinion seriously. Mos Def preached the truth, you can't tell someone to drop your weapon when you have a weapon and have shown the whole world that you are willing to use it. So be quite you dumb Canadian prick.

  • @mohab18 "quiet"

    Sincerely, a Canadian prick.
