We went to a new year's eve concert around 1986 or so at Veteran's Memorial in Columbus Ohio...Mylon headlined. Blind Bartimaeus and the Grave Robbers opened. There was a third band, too, but right at this moment the name escapes me. It was a GREAT show, and that night was one of my favorite new years eve celebrations ever. I am 41 now, and that still holds true. Shoot, who else was playing -- anyone else know?
I still love this as much as I did when we watched it performed live in concert. When the train sound would come on the speakers it seemed as though the train was right there. Thank you!
ROFL... Man, I haven't heard this song in 20 yrs! I searched on Mylon's name just to see if anything would pop up.
I used to work as a DJ at a Christian-oriented radio station in the 80s and we played some of his stuff. I remember so many of the controversies surrounding "Christian" music back then that have evaporated now.
thank you Stryperized...first time Ive seen this vid in about 14 years. It's even funnier now. Keyboard solo at 2:07 is supercheese but I love it! No disrespect to Lefevre at all,
but this is so 80's it hurts. I write Christian rock myself
so I'd never insult these guys, but I'm sure even they can
My dad raised me with the "Sheep In Wolves Clothing" album! after 20 some years later, I now own the cd and it never loses its edge! This is my all time favorite Mylon & Broken Heart album.
Thank you so much for posting this! My quest is finally at an end. For 20 years I had 3/4 of this on a VHS tape without knowing who it was. I could never bring myself to record over it. I searched high and low, and when I did eventually find out who it was I couldn't then find a copy anywhere, but now I can watch it in all its magnificence whenever I want.
My tape was simply marked 'The worst pop video in the world'. It is so bad and cliche-ridden that it has its own merit.
me too! Crack the sky is such a brilliant album! my parents went to see Mylon and Broken heart during their Crack The Sky tour. (before I was born, sadly, or else I would have gone too!) they bought matching t-shirts that said "Love God, hate Sin", as well as the Crack the Sky cassette tape, which I am still playing to this day! (not that this day is that far away from that day back in the 80's....... but for being 18+ years old, that tape is holding up great!)
I was also at that concert on New Years Eve and I think the other person was Russ Taff. Good music and where did they all go?
