  • mewithoutYou sent me.

  • can YOU give me some timothy hay cuz i reeeeeally need it for my bunny!

  • Depends upon what you are doing with it and who your customer is. Pure Alfalfa brings big bucks. However it depends on your location and how vertically integrated you are. Better have cows if it gets rained on

If you are doing strictly cash sales the guys out of Colorado rock with their climate, not so much Midwest or East.

A mix drys better and the stands last longer and overall gives you more flexability. Most horse people prefer mixes. Race/Work horses can use some pure alfalfa.

  • As far as the "hay" market goes, which one is more likely to make the most money...alfalfa or timothy? or could you make the most off of a mixture of both?

  • 3.10- 3.30 I believe the presenter should say that the alfafa takes the nitrogen out of the atmosphere and fixes it into the soil rather than saying it takes nitrogen out of the soil.

  • Please check out the "fix", thanks for the input!

  • cool

  • Thanks, please see I had a couple of verbal "typo's". Made corrections if you like to learn what I messed up on.
