  • 口音重到聽不太懂~"~

  • 去維基百科察一下關於她的事情,期時他真的用一種很直接又激烈的方式愛著台灣,我無法理解為什麼會那麼多搞不清楚狀況的人不喜歡她= =

  • 嘞塞

  • "這三個女人"寫得不錯,

    其實呂秀蓮是有觀察力的

  • Extracted from the website of 台灣宏觀電視:

    ... 希望藉由「台灣宏觀電視」的努力,打開「台灣之窗」,使台灣走向世界!讓世界看見台灣!

台灣宏觀電視 is Taiwanese government-sponsored, it directly represent the Taiwanese government.

  • I can tell from your involvement in these comments that you are a big supporter of Taiwan, but ...for example, Vladimir Putin, Time Person of the Year in 2007, speaks with a really thick accent that's hard for native English speakers to grasp at times. I can understand the reporter and the former VP of Taiwan just fine in this video, so I'm not arguing it's not important to speak clearly, just that you need better examples of poor Taiwanese English

  • If my government wants to 使台灣走向世界!讓世界看見台灣!& can't understand 1st u have to let the world understand what u r talking about, this is "absolutely ridiculous" & THIS IS AN ISSUE.

BTW, this issue has nothing to do with "Why should English accents be such an issue? We're Taiwanese."

with all the above-mentioned, if u still can't understand, now That's even more absolutely ridiculous!

  • Yes, I understand the issue, just that I understand the English in this video ok. Of course I went Taiwan to have a bright global outlook! I just think we tend to express ourselves quite ok compared to many other countries already. (China, *ahem)

  • This is an English program with a host who can't even speak English clearly. Being a Taiwanese myself, I feel ashamed . Small thing like this is merely a reflection of the reason why so many people are disappointed in DPP. If DPP wants to lose its face, lose it in Taiwan only, don't lose it internationally...well, I guess it's too late to say this because Chen Shui Bien has already done a good job loosing all Taiwanese faces in front of the whole world.

  • I think his english is quite good,

sometimes it is difficult for native chinese or taiwanese speakers to pronounce all english words as accurately as native english speakers...

  • You didn't get my point!

Btw, I had a hard time following him. I had an even harder time following Lu. However, Lu was the guest, therefore, it's alright to me......how come the producer never thought about using subtitle?

If you still can't get my point, please seek help from a native English-speaking person. Thanks!

  • Thanks! Maybe because i am not native english users. ^^

i think using subtitle should be better too~

  • Are you Taiwanese? or Chinese living in Taiwan rather? You care so much about losing face.

  • the people in mainland china have no skill about democracy,in other word,if the citizen in the urban area have food, a stabe working position, and they will be satisfied about the government, even this a authority filled with corruption, criminal, and thy wil not concern on the community surrounded them.

  • 第一次聽他講英文ㄎ

  • 不錯呀~~ 很流暢自如~~

  • and shit happened

  • Please impartial to response...I think Taiwanese should be impersonal and rational , do not have political standpoint on any suggestion

  • i wonder when she say "some people take advantage of democracy", some people here refers to whom?
