Dream on! The vaccine was completely ineffective and the new vaccines are likely to be just as useless, especially against a weoponised (genetically engineered) vaccine. Natural smallpox is not very contagious.

Smallpox wasn't always fatal, but it left people badly disfigured.

The vaccine was initially ineffective because people were inoculated with smallpox itself. With Vaccinia there are side effects, but they pale in comparison to the actual disease. Babies, elderly, and people who are immune compromised like those with AIDS are at risk, but for most, the vaccine, at worst, leaves a nasty scar.

All vaccines have side effects. The majority of people aren't going to get those side effects though.
