  • WKCR EN NUEVA YORK! Big up for posting this.

  • Wow,no one can do this anymore, this was before the before the before!

  • This is one of the best songs I've ever heard.. For real.

  • dope!!!

  • also samples igor stravinsky's rite of spring at :20-:30 and later in the song. the song sampled by the two saxophones in the beginning is "you don't know what love is" and to me it sounds like the Lee Konitz recording on the Duets album. the :13 piano and bass groove is indeed the Dizzy Gillespie All The Things You Are. Great track.

  • Samples the Dizzy Gillespie recording of All the Things You Are, but it's sped up.

  • any 1 where to 2 download the cd 4free???

  • @MrCali9323 yo! i know the economy is in the shitter but im sure you can scrap up $15 and BUY the actual cd. support the underground bro. theres a reason why true underground went back to the sewers....people sold out and went for the cheapest, easiest, flashiest, bullshit they could consume...they got tired of scratching their brains and thinking. support underground hip hop!

  • Whats the rap track they sampled for "You know I leave no footprints on the sands of time So these wack MCs can't follow me" on the 90% Of Me Is You break?

  • Monch freestyling on 89 Tech 9

  • @liferasta1 Thats pharoah Monche from organized konfusion. I dont remember the name of the track but its a B-Side or a remix i think.....

  • @Cannagen Ive checked all Pharoah Monche tracks but cannot find anything on that 90% Of Me Is You break by Gwen Guthrie, the only tunes I know on that is Tragedy - Funk Mode & Akinyele - In The World (Large Pro remix), somebody sugested that it could be a freestyle but I searched Pharoahs freestyles on YT but found nothing

  • @liferasta1 I just talked to Cut Chemist and asked him about this hook. This is one of his favorite hip hop tracks of all time. This is what he said - "I believe it was taken from a freestyle that happened on the Stretch and Bobbito radio show. It was released on Vinyl in the Mid/late 90's." I would trust Cut. Hes usually right on.

  • @Cannagen did nobody peep my comment from 3 months ago????
