@loafpork These "Uploads" are tracks off the actual CD's themselves, therefore by stating that these "Uploads" sound like shit is saying that Gary Numan's songs or rather the quality of them sound like "Shit" which for a numanoid which I am assuming you are one is rather profound. Again the sound quality of this track has not been altered, changed or edited in any way or form. Thank you.

@loafpork Hmm i'll have to look into it because it was most certainly never edited by me in terms of the quality as i've already said so perhaps it could be due to the software I use and pushing the audio into it. Although I must admit I can't really hear any loss of quality although my hearing has never been perfect XP

Trent Reznor was influence by Gary Numan and vice versa. It works both ways. Everyone is influenced by something. This is just brilliant. It's Numan with a twist. And it's fucking phenomenal

of the above comment, about stealing music etc,i'd like to defend eminem, he's not talentless, i listen to a very eclectic range of music from death and black metal that would make your ears bleed, to industrial metal, and various other genres of metal and even folk, i like eminem, at least some of his stuff he's not that bad, i can't comment on the jonas brothers.

@StevenLoos Yes, but Trent did it better, and Gary openly stated he was trying to sound like Pretty Hate Machine on this album. But to go so far as to nearly copy the lyrics is kinda sad.

@jackal242 That's a matter of preference. Personally, NIN's a fairly mediocre, entry-level band. They have a few decent songs, but with each release, they continue to become a parody of themselves. Gary Numan, however, has lasted several generations, growing and evolving.

@jackal242 you have little room to say Gary ripped off NIN, since NIN is a rip off of Skinny Puppy, which both Puppy and Numan are better then NIN in the electronic/industrial scene.

NIN isnt bad, but they are nothing exceptional either, good live shows tho.

You can get a You Tube to MP3 Conversion tool and input the URL from this video then poof you now have the song for free...but then Gary wouldn't be getting the money he deserves for his art..so if you're going to steal music find a no talent like Eminem or the Jonas Brothers something mainstream.

ummm you do realize artists dont get much for their cds anymore, right? they make all the money they have from merchandise and touring, and i think Numan is pretty mainstream, his name is well known to many people and songs like Cars, Down in the Park, Metal, and Are "friends" electric are pretty well known by most people over the age of 20.

They DID get money based on cd sales but with pirating they don't. CD sales determine how much money you get for touring and how much merchandising is produced except for the few artists who handle that themselves. Here in America no one knows who Gary Numan is.
