the definition of planets is ancient and false. it should be thrown away. Why is it important if an object is a planet or not? It has no impact on the objects properties or on our perception of it. If you have to categorize them, just classify them by their nature and not by ancient "cosmology". Planet or no planet. It leads to nowhere.
The reason theyre not planets is that they have not cleared their orbit of most or all of their debris. Pluto, charon, Xena, Ub313 etc are all kuiper belt objects, with trillions of other clumps of ice in their orbits. Ceres is in the asteroid belt along with billions of other asteroids, and infact is technically just an asteroid that has enough gravity to be spherical.
Los planetas enanos, también son planetas, aunque la lista principal es de 8 planetas, no hay que olvidar que hay muchos más cuerpos del Sistema Solar que están en equilibrio hidrostático, incluidas varias lunas.
Pluto Charon and UB 313 r not planets but moons why is that it is because they r not in orbit and the order simulation of them is a total bulshit the exact order which they come in i read in nasa's archives of study that there must be a planet behind them because once every few years Pluto and charon change order pluto moves behind Charon and Charon moves forward and for the UB 313 thats a moon because as i said they dont orbit the sun but a planet 9th planet not Pluto you know which 1 i mean ?
charon is orbiting pluto. or rather they orbit each other. there is no reason, nor was there ever, for them to consider charon a planet (or dwarf planet)
Pluto and Charon were concidered my many as a dual-planetary pair due to their size relative to each other (Charon is approximately half the size of Pluto) and due to the fact that they revolve around each other at a common point. . In fact. the only thing keeping The Earth-Luna system being classified as such is because the rotational point of the pair is not in space, but within Earth's mantle.
huh? why did you mark three of the twelve planets as "no planets" and then said that there are in fact twelve planets, instead of nine, as you did not consider three of them? take it easy on me, guy...rrrsssssss.....
A recent National Geographic conesnt and planetary mnemonic suggests that dwarf planets are real planets and the dwarf is just a clasifications, such as terrestrial and gas.
The mnemonic is: My Very Exciting Magic Carpet Just Sailed Under Nine Palace Elephants.
Obviously, Charon is kept a moon. A loss, but we can live with it for now.
Like it very much, the strange thing about what we think we know as individuals has to be challenged by the most fundamental questions, Belive your eyes? And we dont need to be vulcans to know that a duck is a duck.
yeah, me too...i mean, we've always included Pluto on the list of planets for years now and then all of a sudden they will just change their definition of the word "planet" and disregard pluto... :(
Eris, formerly 2003 UB313, is the largest known dwarf planet in the solar system and the ninth largest body orbiting the Sun directly; in April 2006 the Hubble Telescope measured its diameter to be 1,491 mi, slightly larger than that of Pluto. It is accompanied by at least one moon, Dysnomia; apart from comets the pair are the most distant known objects in the Solar System. - Wikipedia

Funny effects lol
Pluto & Charon are different from each other lol
Charon has its own moon & Pluto has its own

So the message to all the non-planets is "Rejection!"?

So was Ceres reclassified twice? Once as an asteroid and now as a dwarf planet?

Yeah, I didn't get that either. I assume UB313 is Eris?

trans neptunion planets ARE planets just under the classification "Dwarf-Planets". Re-Revise ur vid.
Guiseppe98 3 years ago
no no. the IAU was very clear in saying that planets and dwarf planets are seperate classes
heimlich1017 3 years ago
oh and i forgot. what about ceres? it is NOT trans neptunian. it orbits in the asteroid belt, yet it is a dwarf planet

What galaxie does nibiru or planet x belong in?
SparkMan527 3 years ago
i could be wrong but i think nibiru is now considered a large comet because of the speed it travels
imartarded 3 years ago
Nibiru is not a hundred % confirmed and it is in the milky way just like us.

yeah. because we've learned more in the last 70 years. if we gather new evidence that says we were wrong, then we were wrong

I thought it was great when they admitted that Pluto wasn't actually a planet (by definition). What else have they gotten wrong?
