  • well, I'm bout 20, but I guess I have more brains than alot of other 19 year olds. I've been drivin truck since I was bout 8.

  • looks like he spent all his money on the exhaust than the truck it self

  • look at the finished video

  • this truck is fantastic, very good the peterbilt :P....incredible machine ^^...saludos,...bye

  • Truck looks like it was a former dump truck. You restoring it? are you making it a tractor or dump? Nice rig you have there and best of luck with it!

  • this was a factory alum. daycab out of cali. I bought it from the orginal owner who lives here in Oklahoma. The reason for the long frame is because it hauls large bulldozers and it helps with the bridge law.

  • What is the highest hp and torque(?) american trucks have?

We dont have any in sweden so i was just wondering

  • hey but our euro trucks do real work..we pull heaver loads than the yanks..we dont gross out at 80,000 pounds..thats a little over 36 tons..kids stuff!! and haul only tandam axles trailers !!..no in europe we do mens work and gross out at over 97000 pounds thats 44 tons to the yanks out there..you may have fancy rigs...but leave the heavy haulin to real trucks..and drivers...

  • 79pete359 nice truck mate and sounds great...but some of this euro to yank comments really piss me off. sorry i posted a shity comment back...

  • Ha ha thanks for the good laugh. Can you drive an unsynchronized 18 speed? How about backing a 16+ meter long trailer with the axles slid all the way back and add another 7-8 meters for the tractor? You guys have it real easy there. I feel bad for you with those coffin sleepers. As for weight, well its the law. but Michigan has 72 tonne b doubles and 59 tonne artics. Hey have any more good jokes?

  • loardtaw i feel sorry for you mate being so thick of course i can drive an 18 speed unsynchronized box i own a a truck with one!! its an old classic...you see we moved on over this side of the pond a long time ago from unsynchronized boxs!!why would i want to be away all week driving a truck with a unsynchronized box when i can have a fully synchronized box instead??.. you are not a real driver you are just a dreamer who likes to talk about trucks but does not even own a heavy good licence..

  • So to go through the gears u press the clutch 54 times or 51? 3 times per gear? double clutching? do u have one massive muscled leg!! I have one muscley arm, but I'm not saying how it got that way!!lol!!

  • no, you only use the clutch to get rollin, everything else is just good timing and foot control

  • lordtaw and yes i quite often have to drive a low loader which is a lot longer than 16+ meters with 4 rear steering axles on the back have grossed out at 150 tones with a Challenger 2 tank sat on the ass end...you see over this side of the pond we also have a good infrastructure which needs goods of all wights and sizes being moved

  • You retard, the max gross I know of in the U.S. is 106,000 LBS (without special permit).

  • No HahnsB2 your the retard ..check your facts 80.000lbs on all interstates thought out u.s.a...I should no i have driven trucks in the states...

  • 80,000 is the max in California (and maybe a couple other dumbass states)

Here in Washington (and many other states) its 105,500 and 106,000 in Idaho. Thats all provided you have enough axles for the bridge laws.

Both of my fathers last trucks were legal to gross over 80,000 LBS. I know what the fuck Im talking about

  • 80000lbs is for a 18wheeler here in the states 3 axle tractor with 2 axle trailer. 80000lbs is legal payload for over-the-road truck. I have seen trucks haul up to 130000lbs with special permits and up to 14 axles and even more that, would be around 58 tons is that enough for you?

Legal length for a tractor and trailer is about 80' or so. I have seen trucks nearly twice as long on public roads.

  • 80,000 is NOT the fucking limit without a permit in almost all fucking states!!! 105,000 Is the limit WITHOUT a permit in most states as long as you have enough axles and comply with the bridge laws! Can you NOT see the fucking 90,000GVW mark under the door in this video? Fucking shit christ people.

  • Thats is really weird because if I'm 80000lbs+ that's considered gross over weight. Wonder why my dispatcher sends me back to customer to get reloaded that is really weird????????? And I was referring to a every day truck that you can find anywhere on the road 3 axle tractor with 2 axle trailer total of 5 axles.

    Steering= 12000lbs

    Drive= 34000lbs

Tandem= 34000lbs do the math that come up to 80000lbs

  • No I didn't say you could haul 80,000LBS GVW on 5 axles, you stated OTR trucks are only legal for 80,000GVW. You can haul 105,500GVW legally without permits with 8 axles in most states.

  • Cool vintage truck..

But for work i'd rather have me a Scania or Volvo truck :)

Cabover as we have very different rules over here..

  • whoa! thats a long tractor

  • actually its really not that long it just looks long cuz hes got no sleeper on there

  • it is a factory day cab built in Cali.

  • only you fags over there want leather dashboards. and 'memory gearboxes'?! thats only for dumbasses who cant shift! face it, your trucks take it in the ass!

  • "Most euro companies can't even meet U.S. emmision requirements!"

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!

  • shove your euro puss up your arse......give me yanky power any day.

  • AMERICAN TRUCKS #1 BITCHES!

  • "frightrover" - my 74' Ford WT would suck your "vulva" bitch-rig sideways with her 290 Cummins. Americans invented Big Rigs - you pansy euro morons fell flat on your face trying to follow. Eat a crumpet and pet your boyfriend . . .

  • i hear ya buddy!!

  • the only thing european trucks are good for is boat anchors! I wouldnt be cought dead in one! I could drag a scania around with my Cummins powered Dodge. so suck my great big American BALLS!!!

  • Only in Indiana can one factory build MOST of the countries (Worlds) truck engines and not look like a manufacturing city (like Detroit [hell on earth!] Columbus Indiana is one of the cleanest places I've ever seen. Cummins engine company and the people of Indiana build some of the finest products in the world. European engines are some of the biggest smog producers in the world. Just fire up an 1117 Mercedes on a cold morning! Most euro companies can't even meet U.S. emmision requirements!

  • hey frightrover you can come kiss my american ass!!!! fuck you the usa would kick your ass!! o and btw volvo?? scania??? some of the gayest trucks ever.480 hp??? thats nothing my dads accert cat puts out 550 stock!!! so put that in your crack pipe and smoke it ass hole.

  • Those straights destroy any other exaust system

  • i love the way the 400s idle its so awsome

  • Love the sound of an ol Cummins talkin through straight pipes!

  • mechanical with pipes nice!

  • LOOKS LIKE You're missin ur fifth wheel

  • Good sounding Cummins w/the strights remember if it anit hummins it anit a Cummins

  • trick my truck is now doing an interview process, because they are flooded with request. My g/f tried to get my truck on there, but the truck and the driver had to be in Joplin,MO on a wendsday and I had to work, plus that truck is NOT roadworthy. It will be this summer after I make some money with another truck and put it into this one.

  • she aint no beut its a rusty lookin rig man. I no u wouldnt wanna be driving that down on i80 with all those show trucz. It needs to go on TRICK MY TRUCK!

  • thanks, its a 72 pete that sat in a lot for 10 years not running and I bought it off a guy for 1500 and I put 2 new batteries in it and it started and I drove it home. I just put those twin stacks on it after removin the factory single muffler. It's got a 5x4 tranny setup and it's fun to drive. Only 290,000 original miles

  • wow nice. take a look at my dads 1985 peterbilt cabover, you might like it.

  • nice, my dad had a 84 freightliner cabover, we still have a ford 9000 single axel daycab cabover with a 318 detroit in it talk about smoke and a rough idle

  • wow, could you upload a video of that! :D

  • I'm in stillwater,ok and the all of our semi's are in wann,ok on the farm. Next time I go back I'll drive and get some fotage of my 359 movin down the road and maybe the ford9000 and the 378, but the 378 is sittin with about 1100bu of wheat on it.
