@Lynviking You really think the 80s were that good? I grew up on the 80s and have a certain special nostalgia for it. But even I wouldn't say how "superior the 80s music was to the 70s." The early 70s in particular produced some incredible music. This was when Carly Simon and James Taylor were producing some of the best music. You had Paul Simon going solo, Led Zeppelin churning out classic album after classic album. ABBA came out around '73 or '74.
