i think bmw GS1150 adventure frame is just too bad it is not enough strong.on the trip long way round with MR BOORMAN and MC GREGOR the frame of bmw 1150 was broken.

GS 1200 ADV is just a fat-cow. Pretty much better a 650 Dakar with Touratec-Akapovich tuning for a bike tour like that!

Awesome ride guys! I've toured Aus twice on bikes and am planning a 3rd bike trip on a GS 1200 Adv. Love to do something like what you did but the logistics are huge! Anyway Aus throws up some pretty amazing stuff as it is and after traveling thru the Kimberley and up thru the Cape York area etc it will certainly stir the soul as you guys know. Iron side up
