My hovercraft us two big steel wheel spinning in opposite direction too maintain the balance, and only one big rocket to lift it from the ground. When I want to go too the left or too right I just put a brake on the wheel standing on the opposite side of the direction I want to go... Maby I'll make a video...

What do you mean your ps3 drive is fucked? If it's the HDD, then just get a laptop hdd and put it in instead.

No I meant the part where you put the disk in lol sorry for my bad english I thought it was called drive... It doesn't recognize the disks anymore when I put them into the PS3 first they rotate a bit but afterwards just nothing happens anymore. The disk doesn't spin anymore and it won't diplay under the game sectiion of the ps3 menu :(

well that's the problem: I don't know I have the console since 1 1/2 years in the booklet it says the warranty is 1 year. But the german law (I'm german) says every electronic product has to have at least 3 years warranty...

But tomorrow I'm gonna call sony hotline and ask...

if its any help, by ps3 started doing that ages ago, the blueray laser was not working, which meant i could not watch blueray film's or play games due to the blueray disc.

i phoned them, and they replaced it 2-3days later. was just within the warrenty.lol.

Really, easiest and most functional flying machines in LBP are made with floaty-materials integrated to them. Mere rockets are very very unstable.

Well, they are possible but you need a lot of rockets to make metal hover. It's better to make a hollow metal shell, fill it with floaty material and cover it with metal-plating. This makes it way lighter and easier to move.

It's nice, I personally don't have Little Big Planet myself, so I have a vague idea of how you could go about making it better. I would recommend pistons and magnetic keys, everytime key gets with in range of magnetic switch, it would activate the thrusters, when it gets out of range, it deactivates, thus hovering, and thus profit.

I again I have a vague idea of how this game works.

This is ViceOfFire (on my other account for the youtube LBP show I'm working on), and the big red button controls the lift, while the left and right sponges control the direction rockets AND the ones on top to stop the respective side from flicking up. I'm actually making a tutorial for it now if anyone's inerested.

Add me to PSN: ViceOfFire. Aaron, the difference between the floatiness, flying and skidding are very minor adjustments to the boost of the rockets on the bottom. The more rockets on the bottom, the more control. Also, it must be symmetrical to float straight.
