My twins were 14 last September. I had the anterior placenta surgery performed in June of 1995 by Dr. DeLia. My girls were 3 1/2 weeks early and weighed 6 lbs 10 oz and 7 lbs 3 oz. Without the surgery I would have lost them both. The case was so severe that they though they were both in the same amniotic sac. One twin had no fluid around her.
