I don't really suggest music too often. mainly cuz i know my tastes aren't magically universal. I'm kinda the same way though, most new music (almost across all genres) sucks balls, so I stick to shit i listened to in high school and maybe early college...

maybe disney will manufacture an artist that will appeal to your inner 14 year old?

I don't listen to new music either. I work backwards now it seems, listening to bands that influenced bands I like. I think when you grow older you start to hate new music and you get stuck liking what you like. Aquabats kick ass btw.
