  • Newscaster; "Crime is up 41%!"

They are VERY optimistic about Detroit's future in this cartoon!

  • Robocop is the greatest machine ever.

  • I caught maybe one episode of this when I was a kid, and i have to be honest -- this doesn't look bad.

  • I'll buy that for a dollar!

  • bom.

  • That's complete bullshit. The lieutenant just demonstrated some super unnecessary athletic ability compared to the lazy ass cops of today than Robcop comes out of nowhere slower than an old man taking a piss gets hit by literally everything in the course & still got all the glory wtf?

  • i like robocop when i was about 5 o 6 y.o, i wish they could do a remake about the movie

  • @snakelikewise I hear theres gonna be a remake in 2013

  • @SSCC2015 I have too.

  • this is awesome. the man with the iron hand i watch over and over on my vhs. Im not a kid. I love this. it has all the macho elements of the robocop movie.

  • They should have included the "I'd buy that for a dollar" skit in PG rated animation form

  • @Gray86Fox If you wanted to see the "I'd buy that for a dollar" part in the Robocop TV toon mabe a "cartoon inside the cartoon" clip could do the trick, you know, a fat cat wearing gold jewerly saying the "I'd buy that for a dollar" line while holding a vixen and a pussy cat with its paws... I mean, a female fox and a purring cat, not in a mix of real persons and toons situation... which would go into a whole new genere in the Saturday morning bar... a whole new... what was I talking about?

  • 20 people failed the training course

  • Id love this if I could wacth this on tv

  • omg! i remember watching this when i was like 3 or 4

  • That has got to be THE most deadly exercise course ever.

  • This cartoon is so badass:P

  • I've somehow always remembered Lewis' "when pigs can fly" line, even if I can't remember anything else about this show.

  • Whose idea was it to make a children's cartoon based on an incredibly violent movie??

  • @Yggi11 It was the 80s!! There's a Rambo cartoon too!!

80s tv and movies were enjoyable because of the violence and it had no awful consequences since older people were always there to tell us kids what's right and wrong.

Nowdays violence in movies is lowgraded so they can be rated PG-13 in order to reach broader audiendes, that way more merchandise can be sold (compare terminator 1 and 4). That and parents are too afraid to damage their kids that they rise them -in 2 words- as pussies.

  • THey sure don't make cartoons like this anymore

  • Ed-260? Funny... I'm glad this didn't do good.

  • DICK JONES IS WANTED FOR MURDER

  • Holy cow this is the biggest piece of crap ever!!

  • This shit is garbage!!! lol

  • Jesus, are they training with live rounds?!

  • @ZPM7 makes sense wouldnt you haul ass if they were firing live rounds at you?

  • Some people have glasses for reading, others for their day to day lives... and here this cop has glasses for killing punks and training dummies

  • It's crucial for a police officer to be able to counter huge pneumatic presses and walk through walls of fire in the streets of crime.

  • what was with the 2 giant steel compressors in the obstacle course?i guess anything can happen in Detroit, never know when 2 big ass steel compressors can attack u from the side and turn u into a pancake

  • as spieder man

  • I think robocop is kinda a dick for 1-uping the lieutenant at the shooting range. I mean come on, the old man broke the course record and was basking in the glory for less then a minute before robocop showed up xD.

  • Murphy getting shot and all turning to white?!!!! NO NO KIDS! If you watch the movie, you can EXCLUSIVELY see what really happened! :D

  • No! Not Granny Johnson's Bakery! They make the dopest bagels!

  • Why is the bakery in the middle of a skyscraper?

  • Comment removed

  • murphys hand got blew off by those guys then his arm then the leader of the gang shoot him in the head with a shotgon.

  • 0:10 after being blown to bit in possibly the most horrific shooting in movie history...

  • Robocop meets Iron man would be interesting and maybe Tony Stark could hook Robocop up with some more weapons

  • Does Bob Morten sniff coke from a prostitute's cleavage in the cartoon series?

  • @motherflange ofcourse.... goes without saying... what else could we expect :-p

  • @jackhammer316

8:43 A robot and an old woman were more effective then the entire Detriot Police Force... who were waiting outside the entire time.

    LOL

  • @motherflange lol then gets gunned down by kirtwood smith with a silenced deagle

  • It's hard to believe the police would use real gunfire in their training. I say rookies would get shot to death.

  • @spectre0075 I don't know exactly what you mean. Are you a bad parent or an abandoned child? or what else?

  • ya this cartoon was nothing compared to the movie but i'll admit this is what introduced to robocop.

  • That was a lot of destruction. Very bostly I`m sure.

  • Put him up against Judge Dredd.

  • omg i have this on vhs. this reminds me of my childhood times 10

  • This is awesome, but damn, it really hurts my eyes to try to watch this full screen.

  • this is better than robocop 3

  • good cartoon adaption of the robocop films-accurate with the charactors too

  • this sucks

  • those gunfire shots from the target drones... they made use of the same sound effects as Optimus Prime's rifle

  • LOL I remember watching this when i was little thinking back now man this show was corny in a very good way!

  • God bless 90's cartoons.

  • @Kozzy06 This is from the late 80s, dude!

  • man i miss 90's cartoons!!......we have bullshit like fairy oddparents now like wtf

  • @dunkmasta yup. the acting back then was better and the people in them acted more realistic and they didn't have to butcher the dialogue. They could show real weapons and speak about death. My favorite cartoon will always be ninja turtles, specifically the first season. That is like watching a televised comic book.

  • @Luigi84289 i know eh!......the best times man

  • this cartoon is from the late 1980's

  • oh wow! so do we get to see to the absolutly horrific and detailed demise of alex murphy in saturday morning caroon style too?!

  • @TheDeathclawhunter Yes times were better. People weren't so sheltered. This was considered lite back then. The 80's gave us some of the best entertainment ever because we didn't have a bunch of extremists forcing us to censor everything because they don't wanna turn the TV off.

  • OMG my saturday mornings as a kid were all about this cartoon and a bowl of cocoa pebbles! Man, those were the days!

  • This was freaking awesome!

  • What kind of firing range is that? It's more like a dungeon of terror than something the cops would actually use!

  • wait!!!? they made a cartoon of robocop???

  • When I first heard as a kid that this show exsisted, I was thinking like:"Oh my gosh! I gotta see that cartoon!" Because I saw the movies first, I thought that they were awesome. I couldn't stop thinking that how could they turn ultra violent movies to a cartoon.

  • I wonder if Robocop is a Detroit Red Wings fan, lol

  • why the hell is lewis a redhead in this since she has blonde brownish hair in the movie?

  • The concept could just as well have been used for kiddie stuff and when I tell my unaware friends about the movie they usually raise an eyebrow just hearing the title as I go on to describe what it's really like. The irony of it all is how a movie with such intense graphic violence and a dark story actually did end up being adapted into a saturday morning cartoon for kids.

  • 4:38 Windows firewall?

  • I use to have this as a child on orginal copy vhs.

  • i have this on vhs!!!

  • Ahhhh the memories.

  • robo cock

  • Comment removed

  • wow that Lt. character's personality is too simplistic and overdone. and everyone around him is insensitive to his needs and accomplishments. this will never win an emmy award. -_- j/k

  • 2:39

An common everyday hazard in the "Near distant future".

Hah, I love that bit after the training thing, "Hey that was the greatest thing we ever- HOLY DAMN IT'S ROBOCOP out of the way, asshole!"

"He smashed through a wall walked through fire! He's the greatest cop ever!"

  • i love the first movie about robpcop. The sequels all suck

  • at mark 8:32 when robo says DROP YOUR WEAPON - it sounds like Peter Weller

  • the sounds of gun shots in this video were completely full of s****!

  • sorry but this cartoon looks like fucking shit

  • @sancoandpanco if u were 3 in 1989 this cartoon was the SHIT lol

  • Man, that's one brutal old lady. First calling him wippersnapper and then kicking him off the ledge altogether.

If only those flower bags weren't there, but meh, cartoons!

  • Detective John Murphy, super cop, out to bust the biggest drug ring in the country. Problem? Explosion.

  • does he have a robo cock for officer louis

  • Those were the days, when insanely violent R rated movies had action figures and cartoons.

  • Back when cartoons didn't have to be watered down to meet every single regulation. Back when parents enjoyed cartoons just as much as kids. Those were the days.

  • yeah seriously! I remember I had toys from terminator 2 haha

  • @dansquatch what happened to the world?

  • @dansquatch yeah just like toxic avenger :P

  • @area51er6 Including Rambo.

  • Though a prick, Hedgecock can sure kick some ass. :)

  • granny johnsons bakery ha

  • the cartoon looks similiar to G.I. Joe and Transformers, the original one from the 1980's, like the animation and character desigin.

  • That's becuz this cartoon was from the same company. I rememba watchin' this cartoon as a kid. I was shocked cuz the movie was rated R, yet a cartton, a video game and toys were released around that time.

  • i just learned cops really try hard in their training

  • yeah :D in real life they just get hit more ;)

  • lol, love the way they recycle sounds in cartoons of this era. Don't the guns at around 2:30 sound like Optimus Prime's gun from the 80s cartoon?

  • i knew there had to be a cartoon, lol,

  • I didn't know it was made by Marvel. Now I say Marvel is better than DC.

  • I'm surprised they didn't do a Terminator cartoon.

  • hmmmm....

  • But why is Robocop wearing robo-underwear? Robo-shorts?

  • Guy's gotta strap his junk, robot or not.

  • LMAO!Yeah,I saw this movie as a kid then when I saw the cartoon I was like,"That's not what happend to Officer Murph,"but it was still a cool cartoon.Next to C.O.P.'sI wonder if that's on YOU TUBE.

  • How the hell can you make a cartoon out of an extremely violent movie.

  • tone down the violence maybe theakker3?

  • Yeah, instead of being blown to pieces with shotguns and the back of his head blown off, he was just "mortally wounded"

  • Best Cartoon ever!!!

I love the times where he gets head to head to OCP chairman in his "robotic" atitude

  • mortally wounded?!! More like mortally blown to fuck

  • this is hilarious. I think it's funny that in the 80's there were these hard R adult films, and yet in glaring contradiction of this there was a cartoon and toys of several films that theoretically should not be seen by kids.

  • It was very funny actually. I remeber a Rambo cartoon

  • robotic parts*

  • 0:17 BIG FARTS

  • LOL

  • i never thout this cartoon is sooooooooooooooo

amizing can you tell me if you have more e.p

  • O MY GOD!! I only seen 1 episode of this cartoon!! I thought It was my imagination! Well I guess not...

  • I HAVE THIS XD

  • lol its funny how angry this lutenit is. I mean he is angry that he could not do a better job than a cyborg. thats like a solder with an m16 being angry he cant be better at destroying things than a tank.

  • ROBOCOP is feelingwala robat, he have a lot of power but he's lose sometime...

  • Hell 2 tha NAW...lol

  • Ed looks like a mini Rex

  • Rex?

  • Metal Gear Rex.

  • i didnt know this exist

  • WTF kind of police assault course is that? Walls of Fire? Robots with lasers? Brick walls rising out of the ground?

I'd half expect him to get to the end and rescue the princess.

  • I also can't believe the cadets are cheering Robocop on when he's just smashing through everything like a tank.

  • never new that was a cartoon, but i like Robocop 2 better then the first one and a million times more then RC 3

  • who the hell was that at the start? A fat Han Solo?

  • "Every cop should be equiped with titanium steel plating"

  • @Mikemc

And Tasers with 300 feet of wire.

  • Robocop was a good movie but as a cartoon it just didn't have the same story with it and it just was not as good as i was hoping for they should not have made this cartoon at all

  • How can you make a cartoon based on a glorious bloodfest such as Robocop!?

  • In the 80's-90's just about ANY movie that was popular got made into a cartoon. Of course this would often lead to having all the more violent, adult content in the movies taken out to be more suitable of kids.

  • Thank god they don't do that sort of thing any more

(Reads that Terminator 4 is to be made with PG-13 rating)

    NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

  • this show was all kinds of unholy bad.

  • ah dam they cut out the bit in the opening scene when murphay gets the fuck blown out of him by the bad guys. is there an episode in this where robocop busts a crack house and shoots everyoen to peices? or a bit where a guy smashes into a huge barrel of toxic waste and appears again all melted then he gets ran over by his friends and blood goes everywhere? or when Robocop shoots some poor guy in the balls?

    i love kids tv shows

  • Yeh Frak Miller aint all that great cmon even the 300 even though was an awsome movie the graphic novel sucked in my opinion plus it was written history not his idea or something.(Robocop first movie/3rd was awsome )

  • 9:37

''I've had it it with Mister Fuckethead''

  • "Dr. Macnamarah?"......Nip/Tuck? lol

  • Holding an old lady hostage with a huge machine gun in a kids cartoon? Whoa.

  • Im confused? Robocop was close to being rated X and yet it became a childrens cartoon show?

  • If it makes money things like that can be gotten around.

  • Yeah, but is was really cool cartoon. Remember the 80's, if it was a movie, it had potential to be a cartoon. Sure, it tone down the violence, but most kids during that time saw Robocop the movie. Yeah, it did not have the violence, but the same story line was there and it was splitting hairs on seeing the violence or not. One of the best cartoons of the 80's.

  • lolz, I found this series FUNNY xD

  • I remember this cartoon. But the movie will always be better, except for the crap Frank Miller wrote for the sequels.

  • Ah, thank God somebody else hates Frank Miller..."visionary" my ass; more like pretentious, annoying camera work that looks stupid and takes the focus off the actual story that he can't tell because he sucks.

    Great comment!

  • I get irritated by him as well....especially the Spirit......

  • Being that Frank Miller's scripts were never in the movie, I think you're quite wrong.

  • lt. hedgecock is such a hater.

  • Pretty well written and animated. It had an interesting adversary in Henchcock (despite the name), since he's not really a bad guy - the scientist guy is (just like it was not just so simple in the movie). Besides, I guess the metal hands must be Metropolis homage or something.

Just one thing: The cartoon made me think that if there were cartoons and a movie, then of course the movie would be for kids. OMG!

It didn't have chocolate but ACID in the barrels...

  • lmao.... its quite worrying that they picked such an adult themed movie to make a kids cartoon.... but anything for money eh, they even did a rambo cartoon i found out recently i couldnt believe it.... but it didnt have as much credit to it as the robo cartoon

  • I do not think it is worrying. I mean, back in the 80's, many of the cartoons were distrubing compared to cartoons of present time. However, those cartoons brought excitement and imagination, in a fun responsible way. If it were so bad, then more kids back then would have been doing bad things. Now a days you hear of kids shooting up schools, and they are kids not of the 80's.Thanks for posting the eps. This was one of the best cartoons of the 80's, Sunday Mornings, I recall.

  • in 1 respect it wasnt a good idea coz not many parents let thier kids watch the cartoon back then because of the way the movie turned out, i say its worrying because they tried marketing something like robo to the kids, but they did that with terminator & aliens too, im not complaining coz as a kid i loved that shit lol im the 1st person to say that i watched this movie when i was 5 & i never blew schools up & proud, those kids arnt from our generation like u say, i have them all on dvd now

  • jackhammer316, how many eps exist of this Robocob cartoon series? I recall it lasting a few season, I believe. I hear what you say.If you recall, He-man and the Masters of the Universe was known as one huge 30 min commercial for that toy line. I saw Robocop in the theater, I was 14. Ha, i saw the Shinning when I was 6 or 7!

  • only 1series. err 12 episodes... haha i loved HE-MAN...

  • lol this is my favorite episode haha i even have it on VHS thats sick!!!

  • i got my hands on the whole lot on dvd recently.... im now starting to wonder if im still a robo enthusiast or just sad lol but i got this cartoon series, the dvd set of the tv series which wasnt too bad i feel, the prime directives which was that bad lol and the trilogy, so a nice lil robocop section on my dvd shelf.... but your ready for the best bit.... i managed to get my hands on a fibreglass robocop helmet lol but i give you 10points for having it on VHS.... that's just vintage my man lol

  • NO WAY!!! thats sick where did you find the helmet?

  • on ebay bro, originally i was worried that it was just gonna be one of those resin eads u can get, that u paint up, but i took a chance & trusted the guy when he said it was fibreglass and was taken from the stunt suit mould.... & surely enough when it came thats what it was, the chin guard is abit tight, tho im sure if i look i can find a better one, the back of it is very hard to fit but if i just use the front its ok, came with a latex mouth piece too for display, but yeah i can wear it

  • c'mon bro, there's no need for that, leave the dude alone

  • oh im sorry allow me to be proper..."that is quite exquisite"...and only assholes talk shit online grow up jr.

  • 9:37

  • i remember this show

  • I have to say, this show is... remarkably good, for an animated adaption of an R-rated movie.

Usually with cartoons during this day and age, they tend to remove half the characters and re-write everything from the original movie.

Shockingly, they didn't do that, here. It picks up where Robocop 1 left off which was, pretty much the only great Robocop movie, anyway.

The only thing I think it's probably missing are the funny, fake parody commercials.

  • thats a good point my friend

  • Man, I just watched this movie the other day. I laugh everytime those commercials come on. Especially "Nuke 'em". haha.

"Pakistan is threatening my border!" :P

Also, this show is good, but it also needed more of "I'd buy that for a dollar!" :P

  • a completely agree so with that.... there's only one thing left to say... i'd buy that for a dollar!!

i watched the movie like 3nights ago, showed my girl coz she wanted to see what i like about it so much lol actually i just got my hands on a wearable robocop helmet, made from one of the moulds used in the movie, its fibreglass and looks pretty cool

  • Hey dude is there another new version? Like with better graphic.

  • At least Robocop sounded like an actual robot in this series rather than a guy in a suit like he sounded like in Alpha Commando.

  • most of the sounds were pretty much the same as the movie sounds...

  • Its amazing to think all this was a big iconic thing and how it all started from the mind of an unknown dutch film director Paul Verhoeven in 1986 the rest is legendary

  • verhoeven should be directing the new movie in my opinion....

  • WHAAAAAAAAAAAT?! when did this come out? Late 80's?

  • early 90's i think.... well 89/90 something like that i think
