  • Wow! Thank you so much that answered a lot of questions i had.

Im having mine in one month, not nervous at all, exited if anything!!

Would have loved to see before and after in this Vid..

  • Im getting plastic surgery in like 3 months Rhinoplasty, been waiting for this moment since i was like around 8 years old. Im 18 now the reason why im getting Rhinoplasty is because my nose is flat, i have soft cartilage and im missing alot on my tip and upper part. I have no cartilage on the top of my nose, its like a house without support from the walls and the roof falls down. I really enjoy plastic surgery im even thinking becoming a plastic sergoun my self.

  • I want to see a video of the whole thing, not all sped up like this.

  • can you make your nose bigger? thats what i want to do.

  • @starhealer14 yes. they take cartilage from your ear or anothe source. or they may choose to use injectable fillers. depends on the surgeon.

  • chilling.. I'm thinking of getting surgery for my broken nose during the start of winterbreak.. will the recovery time be enough? it will last roughly 3 weeks.

  • Ohhh mannnn i cant believe thats what they did to me! I got a septoplasty as well so i wonder how they did that x

  • i wanna be a plastic surgeon!!! XDD

  • Urg.. im getting my nose done soon cause its bothering my breathing and it hurts... ah im so nervouse for when they call n make an apointment.. ahhh!

  • This is fascinating indeed. How its possible to perform such a master work =)

  • OH MY GOD..! I am goin under the blade this sat 4-sep and this video has just freaked me OUT!

    :O i am Shit scard..!

  • That looks so gross!

  • OH HELLS NO!

  • Genius...

  • what were you getting done?? like what problems did you have with you nose...

  • i feel pretty sick right now, is look very disgusting but i still thing to have one

OMG!!! God help me make my mind.

  • GOOD JOB DOC!!

  • I am having mine in a few dayz......NOW I AM SUPER SCARED

  • Just make sure to choose a good doctor, and it will be worth it. I had no pain what so ever. And could breath normally as soon as I woke up after surgery.

  • This was fascinating!

  • oh my fucking goood lord. i love my nose, who would wanna wreck theirs? and also how ca nthey have such prescision in how they make it after?? :/

  • i just got mine done yesturday. The pain is very low. i do have some pretty bad swelling. however after watching this video i am very supprised i am not in more pain. i cannot wait to get cast and splits off though

  • i had this and a septoplasty done 5 days ago bcuz i had a devviated septum and my nasal bone was broken. i was kinda scared but its nothing special they drug u up before surgery u dont know whats going on as soon as they drug u up they take u into surgery room and a minute later u wake up and thats it i mean not a minute but thats how i feels, right now i dont feel any pain it just feels akward since i still have splints in my nose u mihgt have a slight headacke but thats it.

  • i had mine done and i felt almost no pain! i was very nervus before but it was nothin

  • Disturbing at first, but when it starts to come together again, Beautifull

  • wow...thanks for posting this....i am getting my done in exactly 3 weeks...and this is mortifying...thank goodness for anesthesia :)!

  • omg, that is crazy sick nasty. that person spent thousands on their nose but not on their teeth?

  • God that is gruesome. Still want it though.

  • interesting!

  • had mine done 3 days ago, nothing to feel but the breathing through the mouth a couple of pains now and then, plus the pain relief pills and the anitbiotics for infection, pain comes of in 3 days and it shows results :D

  • open rhinoplasty is only one option for rhinopasty. Although i see the video shows the traditional open rhinoplasty to be a very invasive procedure, there are other options such as endonasal rhinoplasty and minimally invasive combined open/closed rhinoplasty where the incision on the columella is only made to place a graft on the tip and the skin is not lifted as in the traditional open approach

  • wow....it is amazing how good some of these plastic surgerons are :D I love watching this, - its so beautiful to se how they work, like sculptors :D and I love the music too, I am so looking forward to have my nose job done very soon :D But, I wish there was a way they could let me breath through my nose after the surg. cause that`s the only thing I am nervous about.... :-S

  • @doutzen177 i agree! the music goes so well with the video. i just had my nose done last week...breathing through the mouth is so annoying but you get used to it. its SOOOOOOOOOOOO good being able to breathe through mynose again :) good luck with your surgery!!! plastic surgeons are truely amazing...i dont know how they do it

  • why dey doin it so fast

  • wow a lot of you down there redid your nose :O

  • i had a nose surgery but i had no stitches. what kind of method is this?this girl must have felt a lot of pain after the operation. i didn't thank god!

  • oh man thats gotta hurt

  • oh man, i am getting a rhino and septoplasty.. so they are going to rip the shit out of my nose!!! i hope i don't bruise too much and can go back to work the next week.

  • omg this looks so disgusting when he takes the nose off as you would take your hood off your head :S:S:S

  • Dr. Schwartzs' response. Thanks!

    Dear Nick,

This patient wanted to eliminate the groove between the medial crura, hence the strut as I felt the columella would be too thin sutured without a strut. I also wanted to retrodisplace the tip, and was having trouble with the final shape, so I resected cartilage and then sutured remaining cartilage together. Did not trim columellar skin, just wasn't happy with first apposition of edges so I replaced those sutures.

  • i feel sick.....

  • the doctor is realy skilled

  • great music

  • the music is the best

  • how do you breathe???

  • can you image being under drugs and sedated and doctors doing that to you?!!!

is that what all of you watchers want done to yourselves?!

  • Waking up to your nose filled up with half-dried blood must have been quite unenjoyable.

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagggggggggggggg!!! no estais bien de la cabeza! Que dolor solo de verlo!

  • wow... T_T

  • im getting mine done in 1 week. Oh God I wish I didnt watch this now! I feel nervous! It looks so yuk!

  • @farza85 you will do fine :) ... i was amazed at how little pain i felt ... and i was so nervous i even passed out without any meds before surgery ha ha ... then woke up and it was all over!

  • @paraviz your so right.....there wasnt much pain at all! However the numbness is annoying. it is now my third week....i havent seen much change in my nose aesthetically but that takes months I guess.....

  • @paraviz I felt NO pain and i had something almost identical. they made mine alot smaller though

  • @farza85 Had mine done this AM. No problems and not any pain yet either. Was used to just bearthing thru my nose anyway. Can't wait to get the stuff out though...lol

  • @farza85 hey how did your rhinoplasty go? mine is in about 9 days..dead worried i might not get the results i want... i mean was it worth it in the end? xx

  • @farza85 i'm getting mine done in 5 days!!! why the efff did i watch this???????

  • تهبل الهملية من زمان وانا بخاطري اشوفها بالكامل

  • 1:00 OMG O.O that's gonna hurt

  • :) ... i had my nose done and, funny enough, i don't recall feeling *ANY* pain. just uncomfortable breathing through my mouth for a few days =|

  • @paraviz me too i don't recall any pain the only problem i have is my bad result check my videos

  • @jesus160607 it would like hell... if u were awake.... cuz u know if ur sleeping u dont feel anything or HEAR anything

  • @jesus160607 NOT ITS NOT CAUSE UR GONNA BE ASLEEP

  • iam daying

  • how long does it take before it's healed?

  • takes usually about 1-2 weeks for the initial trauma from the surgery to subside. and it takes about 2-6+ months for 100% healed with no swelling--maybe up to a year. it all depends on the individual and how much work was done during the surgery.

personally, i had reached my desired results about 7 months post-op. but there was *VERY* little change from months 3-7 (very gradually but constantly changing tho still).

  • I have a question. What did you feel when you woke up? .. Thanks

  • well all i can remember from the surgery is getting my IV put in, then i actually passed out from just nervousness :) ... the next thing i know is i was walking out the surgery center.

didn't feel any pain whatsoever ... they must have used some good pain killers during surgery because there really was zero pain or hurting feeling. they had me so numbed up that i couldn't even feel or move my upper lip for like 36 hours after.

  • @paraviz

then how would I be able to work and live my life properly for that 1 year? Is there any trick or secret to it?

  • @sentimoko -- well there's only swelling and bruising that might affect work/life/social things for about 2 weeks. the entire remaining time after that, until it is fully 100% healed, you can do pretty much everything normally as the swelling is down about 85-90% by then. but you should wait about a month or 6 weeks before wearing sunglasses though:).

  • how long did the operation really take? im havin a rhinoseptoplasty soon

  • this particular surgery took about 2 and a half hours. the average time for these surgeries is probably about 2 hours ...

  • @paraviz mine took only about 45 minutes, and mine was pretty bad...

  • Fuck getting a nose job.

    Sorry about my language.

  • i love how my nose looks after getting it done. i don't have *my* surgery on video, but ... no pain at all, just a weird feeling at night for the first 5 or so days cuz of having to breathe thru my mouth all night. :)

  • omg what am i getting myself into...he did a great job though

  • thanks:). it's amazing how capable the human body is of repairing and fixing itself!

  • done very ceanly, compared to the other videos ive seen

  • thanks:)

  • resecting cual have not been the best choice, but u helped reshaping her nose with out other procedures , in my opinig , it was matter of time

  • Good technique...a few things:

    1. Why not just a mattress stitch to pull the domes together instead of resecting all that cartilage...

    2. Was the strut graft necessary?

    3. Did you revise your columellar closure to shorten it or was it just not opposing properly?

    Thanks,

    Nick E.
