Is final fantasy a good game? Everybody I ask says yes,and I haven't played it yet.......It looks strange though,storyline videos and gameplay videos make it seem like two different games....

Final Fantasy (FF) is all about its characters and the storyline around them.

If you like fantasy and have the patience to explore a world and meet the characters in it im sure you will love it.

The footage you see in the YouTube videos are often pieces from the cutscenes in FF. Final Fantasy is well known for it's beautiful cutscenes. This may explain why you feel like you are watching two different games.

@JohnForester15 Final Fantasy is one of the best series of rpgs that I have ever played. I played Zelda Link to the Past as a kid, but it wasn't until Final Fantasy VII that I discovered what a rpg is meant to be. I didn't know until Final Fantasy VIII that they weren't literal sequels but by then I was so hooked. Trust me, hook yourself with an emulator or two and try them out. You should be able to play up to Final Fantasy IX on emulators alone. emuparadise.me
