My favorite Berganza rendition of this aria, and probably my favorite out of them all! The gentler ending is a welcome alternative, and in my opinion much more fitting to the dramatic situation. The way she interacts with Alva in that bit is so sweet. (And their miming of the breathing exercises earlier is hilarious!)

Her colorautra and acting are so natural, it's beautiful! I love it! She has that mezzo-soprano/soprano voice that is perfect for some roles!

lol I laughed so hard at this scene! After watching this I had to purchase the whole DVD for myself. The singing is just so perfect and their comedy is right on in this scene I had to see the rest of the production. The whole thing is great! :) Love it.
