  • Nice video man, one Cert I wanna get one of these days, Tiller operator.

Just a question though, you East coast guys, are you taught to wind the grinder siren tight and hold it there? this is probably the 5th or 6th video I have seen with the damn thing sounding like a raped banshee. I know we were taught that the changes in pitch of the thing is what gets peoples attention, and the constant "WEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" actually can cause people to "not hear it."

  • This was great to watch, I never saw a video from the tiller box like this before. What FD is this?

  • That must be scary driving on the other side of the road

  • Great Video!!!! best tiller movie on the web today!!!

  • thats the shit right there

  • Hauling balls to fire calls.

  • looks more like a tiller ladder than a Hook and Ladder

  • now thats what i call driving

  • great job by both the driver and tillerman, i love the aggressiveness of the driver

  • when that tone went off i thought it was my pager lol

  • tillerman is doin a wonderful job as is hte driver. well all of you did/do a wonderful job

  • You and your driver have some fucking AMAZING urban driving skills, especially for that speed. Honestly that's really impressive... and great work with the Q.

  • lol LOVE THE Q!!!!

  • We need some of these over here, awesome job.

  • Beautiful drivin skills, props to both, ive been driven big trucks for 22yrs now and I was impressed!

  • @4624tone ive done both. ( big trucks and emergency equipment. and this crew impressed the hell out of me. handled that truck like a small high performance car Eh?

  • @yamahonkawazuki Yeah man!!

  • Asshole's going to burn up that Q. When will people learn that drivers tune out steady, unchanging noise that's why the tone is supposed to fluctuate.

  • @USMC3531tsd I don't think that's true, when the tone stays high it becomes an extremely obnoxious tone and in fact will cause more annoyance than the fluctuating tone. To be honest it seems traffic clears faster when people gun the Q... even though it doesn't sound great... but that's kinda of the point.

  • @kurnellampdwarf <They're likely responding more to the horns. I've found Horns get the attention over siren. What's going on while the Q is wound out, most of the time the horns are pulsing. Never met anyone that stands on a horn like they do the Q.

  • @USMC3531tsd True that, Horn gets more attention than any other.

  • First, I believe you spell "hook" with two O's not two "k's", Second is some really decent driving. Third, the brother hanging off the driver's side needs to get his @&& removed and reminded to sit down with his seatbelt ON.

  • Wow great driving. Did you guys hit some cones?

  • That is some skill there buddy!

  • wow! great ride, great camera position, great view from the tillerman's seat....this is just a really cool video all-around. thanks for shooting it and sharing it with everybody!

  • Good work tillerman.

  • this dude is hauling ass

  • wow, hard run

  • This is Bedfords old tiller.

  • best veiw ever

  • now that's some driving...

  • Tiller Rollin Strong

    Strength and Honor

  • Nice teamwork

  • That was a beautiful ride.Yes,it does feel like we the viewers are actually there.Nice swinging around the construction barriers. And the "Q" and the view does remind me of Newark,Delaware's Ladder 9. God bless Seagrave! Is this a Seagrave? 5 star rating for the video length.

  • This truck is identical to Newark, DE's Seagrave tiller Ladder 4. They also did some tiller-view videos on their truck as well.

  • nice driving by both drivers! maneuvering that thing like a sports car. nicely done!

  • @ 2.10 your front end driver didn't slow down when he went on the other side of the median into opposing traffic??! creepy....

  • Is there a speedometer on your screen?

  • @eng4inea

    yes, there is....it's called experience

  • @chainsaw5vent That driver can see a lot better than you can from this view. Why slow down if he has a clean shot? If they are responding to my house, i hope they respond just like they do in this video, but i guess if it was your house, you would want them to take it slow on the right side of the road and weezle their way threw all that traffic. The "safe" way

  • @sfdff39 , of course it is hard to tell from the camera/tiller spot. i just hope that the driver did back off the throttle a little bit and covered the brake when he appears to power through the opposing lane and intersection. having been up in the tiller, i prefer my drivers get us there safely so we can do what we have to do.

  • Do you have any communication with the driver of the rig?

  • awsome driving!

  • Very well done

  • Wow...your good!

    I could never do that!
