My Mom told mewhen she was 83 she still felt 16 sometimes.LMAO. Age is a STATE of MIND.
I've heard many Young CANADIANS talk more sense than the Politicans. I think Canada's future is in SMART BRIGHT GREAT YOUNG CANADIANS and it's Lookin' Good.
LISTEN UP CANADA THERE"S SOME SMART PEOPLE TALKING. LMAO.You make me Proud as an Old BOOMER.
Good to see all these young people get out and vote.Of course they are almost all brainwashed by leftist Profs.Wait until they grow up and get a job and pay taxes. Then they will realize what life is really like.
We think that we have the power to change the politics environment . But the reality is that we've got no power. The real owners of canada are the rothchilds. They are the one who decide who should be elected!
This is all well and good but what does voting accomplish. We vote in someone based on false promises who just do the exact opposite when they get in. Election May 2nd in Canada. Be careful folks, it doesn't matter who you vote for, the government always gets in. The corporations decide what our governments are going to do not us. Not to sound so negative but its the truth. Mass protests probably accomplish more then voting.
@TheConspiracyRealist I thought the same thing when I was in University -- funny how some things don't change.
I am now far more active in voting, and in being active between elections. A specific bill was critical to me in the least session (Bill C-32) and I organised time off work so that I could attend each committee hearing and blog my thoughts. I've been told by a number of people in parliament and in the bureaucracy that this has a great impact.
@JustChillzz yo dude: "While much has been done to ensure self-government agreement provisions address these fundamental needs, the Government of Canada acknowledges it must work harder with First Nations to fully implement the vision set out in self-government agreements"--from the Indian and Northern Affairs website.
@JustChillzz pretty sure aboriginal self government is just an issue the lady is keeping in mind during the election. there are still a lot of improvements that have to be made..if you haven't noticed.
WOW bored 1.15 in. Video way to long, no longer cared at all about it. I plan on voting but this video is so BAD its hilarious. Could of been done in a much better way and alot shorter too.
Q: "What's the difference between a group of hockey fans and the vote mob?"
A: "Hockey fans start riots."
I'm voting none of the above. Although it isn't even an option. There are 4 parties in my riding (Con,Lib,NDP,Green). None of these satisfy me. I might vote if there was even a chance of kicking Baird out but the Liberals aren't much better. Preferential ballot or mixed member proportional. Better yet direct democracy!
Spoiling your ballot is technically illegal, though it would be hard to be caught doing it. I don't think they actually tally it - it's essentially the same as not voting.
@JustaSilentWarrior There used to be an option of "refusing your ballot" but this was apparently too complicated because it's been eliminated. Yes you can spoil your ballot but that means you will be in the same category of people so stupid they don't know how to make an 'X"
The best solution for the informed cynical voter out there is to steal the ballot. It is actually illegal to leave the polling station with the ballot. The way around this is to eat the ballot. Nothing anyone can do!
You guys need to relax. We had people with all political ideals come out. One guy yelled to continue supporting the Conservatives, and he was included as equally as the rest of us. It was entirely non-partisan, and each individual's beliefs are their own.
Some of the views were clearly jokes. The message is simply to get out there and vote for what you care about. No matter what your views or political affiliation we encourage everyone to vote on May 2nd.
@cwoth It is hard to tell when you don't know people if its sarcasm.. it could have been showing an extreme difference in opinion! I can't read people I don't know..
@11Jacqueline211 I don't even know her.....and if it did show a difference in opinion, it's still showing an opinion that is inspiring her to vote. Which is what dis is all about!
Well done! Sorry I couldn't make it out...grown up job ; ) BUT I am voting because it's my right and democracy is nothing but a fictional dream without full citizen participation.
@therightideas and @tony792279 Uh... What part of it was partisan? We asked people to write in with their reasons for voting, and then we wrote them on signs. We didn't tailor them to any specific party, and we didn't give any guidelines. There was one guy there yelling "Carleton votes blue" - clearly he didn't feel ostracized or excluded.
@therightideas As no parties were mentioned in the video, which part of it was partisan? The fact that they would like to see human rights supported? The environment?
So, you are basically saying that the Cons will trounce these things? Smooth.

The idealism of youth is an amazingly beautiful thing. I hope they never grow old, age seems to turn people into self-interested toads.
