I'm into to buy this Creative Zen Touch X-Fi2 but then in 8GB version.

I have one question, can you shut down this mp4 good ?

I had an Ipod but he can't shut down very well, because when I shut down the Ipod and put the locker on so the battery won't run out normaly. But when I try to put the Ipod on a day later the battery is empty! And I shut down correctly.

So can you put down this Creative Zen good so the battery won't run out when you put down this Creative Zen ?

the hting whats kinda annoying of the X-fi2 is that the play mode will reset constandly, so if you select repeat all it will change back to normal aftet you reboot it

This seems great, but the complaints about the software/firmware and bad customer service are giving me second thoughts (although I've been using a Vision M for 3 years now with no problems -- love the thing, but now looking for an upgrade.) Features that matter to me: lots of storage space (SD is nice but would rather have more on the player), FLAC support, good playback quality, audio recorder (minor issue). That's pretty much it... is this a worthy upgrade or should I look at something else?

Dude like u i do still have my 60Gb zen vision:M and i think its much better than X-fi2. LIke you said more on the player. I also have the Zen, and x-fi1. but i still prefer the zen vision:M they should just improve the zen vision:M with flac and another feature. But it;s up to u, if u think u need an upgrade just wait for another zen to be released.Personally i still buy creative product. :)

iPods are overrated, but it lasts much more than a creative.

My 2nd gen iPod Nano is going to have 3 years of some heavy-usage, and it costed only more 60 euros than my old 100 euros Creative MuVo V200, that lasts only 2 years. I treated carefully the MuVo, in spite of Nano.

And this x-fi2 is a puke crappy copycat of iPod Touch. Interface is so slooooooooooooooow!!!!

mhh i currently use my sony ericsson k770i for music =| the earphones suck ass and it only stores up to 256mb (lol) so i defenitly need a mp4 player, im thinking bout this one, so i can also watch videos on it during class, would you recommend me this one or another one, 8 gb is fine, got lots of mini-SD/SD cards, around 100-150 euro's

I have a Zen mp4 player (It's name is just 'Creative Zen' but it came out kind of recently) and it works really well. Zen is a good company and I'd most definitly reccomend it. This one isn't out yet but you can read about it on the Zen website (creative. com) it has alot of awesome features for a decent price.
