The Preds thought it was over, and they put one of their top lines out, and the Flames put out all their fighters. It was a mismatch from the get go.
Note: It was immediately after this game that the NHL installed tougher penalties for instigating in the last 5 minutes.
If two players are already engaged in a fight, if another two players decide to drop the gloves, I think (not sure) the other two get a game misconduct. Again, not 100% sure on that, but thats what i thought

This was the first pro hockey game I ever went to. I didn't realize at the time how rare of an occurance this was. Been a HUGE hockey fan ever since.
