It is simply because of population. Hockey was invented in Canada in the 1800's. That is why hockey is one of the two national sports of Canada. i see in filppula what i saw in datsyuk in 01-02. only difference is datstuk came to the team at a better time-all the first liners from 02 left soon after and he became a top liner. filppula may not be because of dats/hank/homer but that's not his fault, or a bad thing. i think a hudler/franzen/filppula line would be great.
