Ok for those of you are unsure. Shank means to stab someone with a knife, however Skank is a type of dance. The music video is clearly aimed at young people in urban areas who often witness and face knife/gang culture and it's giving these young people the positive message. Like Jolin's already said who are we to under mind that? What are you doing to support these young people besides judging them and condemning them to a life of crime?

Take a good look around people our young people have more inter-racial relationships that the generations before them, the issues they face right now are rooted in the need to belong. Maybe we would should all exercise some tolerance.
