  • 2pac's auntie RIP Jemima

  • Ozzie and Harriet

  • thats not 50s look at that refrigerator and stove and skillet thats 60s

  • I made these by dipping the apple rings into the batter then placing them on the griddle. Came out great.

  • Looks delicious to me.

  • Looks later than 1950s , the styles , refrifgerator and skillette control

  • Apple Rings and Buckwheat Pancake mix...sounds so healthy and fun! Carla Hall did these on The Chew, and I've been searching for the recipe!

  • Carla Hall made some of those on The Chew!

  • I love these commercials. Make sure you use every single dish in the kitchen. lol

  • Nice low-key acting, Unusual for the times.

  • "Cornfritters" are great too!

  • "Cream of Wheat" still has the spook on the box!

  • @sygo7g . Political correctness exists for a reason.

  • @perogie34 Political correctness= anti free speech, make no mistake!

  • @perogie34 granted but how much is too much when the pilsbury dough boy is not allowed to be white even though he represent all purpose flour used in baking? now he's more of a cream or very light tan color....if my bag of all purpose flour is light tan or ream colored when I open it, i would be hoping i could find my reciept to return it because something is wrong with that batch.

  • lol i thought she looked ugly in the modren days XD

  • see back in dem days. the older black woman was called aunt. the stereotypical role black women played for years since slavery. taking care of the whitemans children, working as a housekeeper and nanny . and the older black man was called uncle. this was used so you didnt have to call him sir or mister. same as the black woman,so you wouldnt call her mam or ms.

  • @veeseee128 Everyone calls them something! lol

  • Oh, Dave. I thought you were at the party.

  • notice how even tho this is a black people's product, there are STILL no black people in this commercial~

  • @sexxyperv Obviously...it was the 50's. What else would you expect for the 50's ?

  • I do product reviews and Aunt Jemima, hands down is the best pancake mix I have ever tried.......believe me I was very surprised. Far better than tasteless, doughy, Bisquick and the host of other brands....even far better than the gourmet pancake mixes at high priced food stores. Even more surprising all you do is "add water". The eggs and milked i guess must be powdered. Great for survivalists. I plan on doing a youtube video review soon on this product.

  • @inkey2 You should be writing commercials. You've sold me on Aunt Jemima Pancake Mix!

  • @mewhor yeah, Aunt Jemima is good stuff.......and crazy easy to make. I actually had not had it in about 30 years as my mother usually bought bisquick. Even my brother was into all these gourmet pancake mixes and never tried A J Pancake mix. Anyone that spends a lot of money on these designer pancake mixes is a total sucker...........Aunt Jemima straight out of the 1950s is real good eat'in

  • @inkey2 I love the Aunt Jemima whole grain mix, have you tried it yet? yummy stuff!

  • that guy is urban meyer

  • I love how you have to add sausages to get the perfect pancakes.

  • @anything4what omg dead at this observation. lmao irl

  • My favorite commercial, you guys are so sweet! What a lovely thing to say! You shouldn't have! ;)

  • good lawd !

  • The 'husband' is a hot - but very obvious - homosexual!

Are there any nude photos (vintage)?

  • @mrspatrickcampbell How do you know he's a homosexual? :{

  • @mrspatrickcampbell lol..your crazy as he11

  • hmm never thought of that...looks yummy...i think im gonna try that

  • Who has time to make a breakfast like that??? Maybe if youre married with one kid like on a Sunday morning ???

  • looks yum, great commercial! look at those sausages too... they dont look like the greasy chemical bombs we get today. oh and ozzie and harriet for the win :)

  • Is the commercial with the song that parodies the song "Yellow Bird" available? Always liked that one.

  • Actually some current woman's and Tv guide-clone magazines sometimes show those kind of recipes as "did you know that you can do...?".

  • It actually looks good! It's just like putting fresh blueberries in your pancakes, or strawberries, bananas etc, it's just being creative!

  • Some of those product recipes from the 50s and 60s looked like they'd be disgusting, but this doesn't look half-bad.
