  • Thanks for all the great videos!

If you're looking for something free, you can always amend with some urine of your own. Just remember to dilute it about 10:1 so that you don't burn the roots. Human urine is sterile and contains high levels of nitrogen (good for greens), phosphate (good for flowering) and potassium (good all around).

I'm only mentioning that here because if I recall correctly, you tried this with your tomatoes in NY.. did you dilute it?

Oh, and PS, use within 24 hours.

  • @Dragonbeast1038 Word. Will do. Thanks for the tip.

  • Oh yeah or like youmre doing ;)

  • @jihadacadien True. The risk with buying the bagged stuff in stores is that you don't know what's been done to it. Personally I like to support the small businesses. I've actually spoken to the owner, Annie, on the phone and she seems like a great lady. It's been a family run biz for nearly 100 years now. Animals are free roaming and not factory farmed. I can support that.

  • @CanarsieBK wow that seems great! I can ony get mass produce "organic" stuff here....or my own compost. but it's fillled with potatoes and sunflowers ;)

  • @jihadacadien Is that what your diet consists of?

  • @CanarsieBK Lol Not really....I have no idea where the sun flowers came from...and the potatoes grew from some peels I threw in there.

  • Just buy a bag of chicken compost and make compost tea. Then water your pots with it. and had the residue on top of the dirt. you should be ok.

  • @PCOStherealdeal Nice. I'm sure there a bunch of ways to do this. I might do the way that you said and use the cow manure to see the differences.

  • @CanarsieBK There are so many different forms of compost "tea" that would be really interesting to see if you picked out a few variations and did a side by side by side to see the difference. Iv never heard of the company that sent you the pre-made bag either but that looks SUPER convenient lol. Of course I'm gross and LOVE the smell and feel of my compost and soil so I don't mind digging in there lol.

  • @PCOStherealdeal lol now that I think of it I might do that myself :). I'm going to have to move soon so your container's are my best bet if I wind up in the apartment I want. any way's I'm rambling again lol.

  • @PCOStherealdeal Oh yea and screw Miracle Grow. I don't want that crap anywhere near me or my food.

  • Neat can't wait to see the results! Is the cow manure composted?

  • @jujutubes Composted and all natural.
