I wasnt an Interpol fan.. I am into hip hop music. But i heard the recent release and picked Barricade and All of the Ways as the best songs.. By far "all of the ways" stood out to me as the finest song.. I saw them in Brisbane, live @ Sunset Sounds, and was disappointed that they didnt perform "all of the ways", in their set.. oh well, fuck it.. good band anyway.. great that the lead singer is banging Helena Christensen in the manner that a decent rockstar should.. (aka MIchael Hutchence}

Interpol, apart from making some pretty decent music, also makes me want to be a rockstar so I can bang supermodels in st tropez all day..

My favorite song of the new album. The song doesn't have a beat, it just slowly pulses and pulses energy right up through your body. It has a dark, brooding melancholic hurt that keeps reaching and striving, building and falling in crescendo "time after time". So beautifully longing and painful.

In all honesty I'm starting to like interpols new stuff less and less. Every time they release an album there are less songs I like until it got to this point where I'm not really feeling it for any. Just my opinion though; I see alot of people are liking the way interpols going now but I still think of turn on the bright lights as perfection and as the best album I have ever heard.

If Interpol is "growing" i.e. gtting deeper in personal feelings when composing", well, they should keep it to themselves. If the best music comes from the soul and life experiences, then it would mean that while they made this album their state of being was somewhat more darker than in previous years. I feel that this album just represents their emotional state when creating the album.

This is the best song of the new album IMO. The other songs were hard for me to get the feeling of but this song, I feel it perfectly. I like this song the most.
