  • those are "outside" rollers hahaha

  • damn, good balance on there shown by the tri-shoes off maneuver . an easy way to wipe out on there.

  • That was awesome.. I just got my first road bike, training for my first triathlon whenever that may be :P Transitions like that seem so far off! I got regular road bike shoes not the tri ones with the pull loop etc. Just going to try and finish a race first. :P by the way, how do you get off the rollers? seen the Wheelmen dudes riding on those around town and was always amazed!

  • I would love to seen him wipe-out

  • put a electric generator under it

  • lol don't use carbon wheels on rollers. they get raped

  • what happens if tire explodes ??

  • @TTRaigo What happens if the tire expoldes on the road with traffic following you? lol

  • do a footjam

  • Honestly...I'd just use the fake bikes at the gym..lol

  • You need to connect battery to the rollers and you get free energy :D

  • in a triathlon you have to switch from one event to the next very quickly

he uses clipless shoes, theyre super stiff and hard to run in, and attached to the bike in a way

by taking his shoes off before stopping, he can transition to the next leg of the race quickly and efficiently

  • i would hate to wipe out on that thing!

  • HE TIE HES SHOES

  • that bike cost as much as your life.

  • @satinISsexy after a few weeks/months/years ( depends on the person ) ---of riding yes, it's not exactly avoidable but, whatever. haha

  • weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeenaaaaaa

  • The comments here are so negative. Cycling, like most sports, is full of "you 5uck, and I'm better" attitudes. Trash talk is worthless when it is done behind the safety of your computer screen.

  • @Cyclingmadman what is so wrong about his position? He's obviously performing a trick so not really giving a Flying F about his position. Road bikers, why do you have to be so serious all the time? Any the lycra, seriously give it a rest.

  • How is the front wheel rolling?

  • @Kevinthekiller82 all 3 rollers are connected together, they all spin at the same speed, hence the first roller is forcing the front tire to roll, otherwise you'd end up falling off because you wouldnt be able to "turn" to keep it centered,

also, i dont think it would be good for the tyre, so they make it spin

  • @Roksonixx Thanks for the info. The spinning front wheel would help with balance as well. I was expecting a dyno style set up securing the front wheel.

    Thanks again

    Kevin

  • @Kevinthekiller82 Yeah there are things out there like that, but i guess this way is easier to setup and easier to store when it's not in use. Im assuming it helps with balance also, and doesn't cost as much as a "treadmill style". I personally like the idea, but it begs the question - why not just go outside? :)

  • @Roksonixx I'll tell you one thing - snow and ridiculously cold temperatures keep me from going outside and riding in the winter. There's nothing fun about riding in 10ºF weather while your nose constantly drips snot. Riding in cold weather is a quick way to catch a cold and obtain a raw nose from wiping it so much.

  • Why use rollers when you can ride for real, each to their own i guess.

  • it looks like a beautiful day to go riding, why are you on a roller??

  • Charging the batteries for the house?

  • unfortunately, no air is blasting on your face.. so not the same experience

  • how does the front wheel move on rollers?

  • @sweetgodoff There is a resistance band that connects the middle roller to the front roller. The back wheel is of course on both the back two rollers, and then the front roller by being connected to the middle roller drives the front wheel.Hope that answers the question ok.

  • I slow motioned and freeze framed it and his saddle is not too low, so there!!

  • @mrwasbesonders His saddle is in a perfect position with just the right angle at full stretch.

  • @tankergavob Absolutely, that was what I thought when I freeze framed it. This guy is obviously a very good rider and I can't believe all the people on this site slagging off his position! Thanks for confirming my previous conclusion.

  • boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnngggggggggggggggggg

  • thats a pretty poor riding position,

  • ewww trisexuals

  • looks like he's getting ass fucked by his saddle

  • Do it on a track bike now : D

  • In Soviet Russia the bike rides you.

  • @karalius166 nah thats a fixie

  • is he taking off his shoes to be able to jump of the bike and be able to start running faster??

  • @krabbe88 Yes.

  • :()

  • Triathaletes are alien to me.

Is he taking off the shoes in preparation for the transition into the running part?

  • nah, you have to get off the bike and walk to the transition area, with the bike.

  • i dare you to stick your finger in the spoke!!! damn that would hurt

  • @DestroyTheseWalls Have you ever heard someone call downtube shifters suicide shifters? It happens.

  • @Eugen987654321 i use suicide shifters

  • whoa, that's real skill taking off your shoes on rollers

  • Who cares? Isn't that a cheater setup in the back? No wonder triathletes can't keep a straight line on the road.

  • yea i agree your seat is too low

  • how fast have u hit on those?

  • Too low sadel?

  • being on rollers with disc wheel and the aero front is a must, or your masculinity and cool factor are not there.

  • yeah, he forgot his aero helmet though. shame. he could have been awesome.

  • I got a set of E-motions for Xmas..they are fantastic. No hands,no problem.Standing not too hard either.

They arent cheap, but you do get what you pay for. Dont settle for crappy rollers.

  • just out of a matter of interest what rollers are you using?

  • E-motions from insideride, check out their website!

  • @Bigmiksears cheap one from china

  • I don't think the back arching is bad, necessarily. Some people might get more power that way. What's with the title? What are we supposed to see his feet doing? Some ankle work or something?

  • He is taking his feet out of his shoes and leaving the shoes connected to the pedal. This decreases the time he takes while in the transition area of a triathlon.

  • Who gives a fuck what wheels are on the bike. Some cycling enthusiasts really have a fuckin sook about what everybody should do. I ride on Mavic Cosmic Carbone SL Clinchers everyday to work. An awesome wheel. Why the fuck would I save them for racing. I just chang my tyres and tubes.

  • why swear?

  • He's making a movie for you... of course he's going to use good equipment for show. If he had used training wheels you'd be whining that he had crappy wheels. How about focusing on the point of the video?

  • the position is good cause it is a TT bike and if he feels whel on it it`s ok

  • Bristol seems to be very tall and yes, he has a very nice bike. .:-)

Just my 0.2cents. Nice speed and control. The bar needs to be higher and there seems to be much bent in the leg so the seat should be raised a tad also.

  • I can't believe the smack talking! Good rider, good rythem, good balance. You guys gaulk at his position? Try riding 100 miles then tell him his position is not correct!

  • weird tt position, his backs really arched.. and raise ur seat abit mate lol

  • Nice bike, but you used your best wheels and tires on the rollers??

  • That's a nice bike brother.
