When Dan serves a Buddah, you don't say anything to him about a Buddah, but you say something to me about God. It's ok, you all are free to do what you want, the choice is up to you. Dan can say what he wants also. I'm not trying to stop him, but I'm trying to warn him what would and could happen if he doesn't watch what he says about God. Jesus said broad is the way that leads to distruction and narrow is the way that leads to life. There is a fork in the road, take the right way that's for U.
This is the only way I can comment you back. Dan channel is open for debate, critizism, and what not. I was tellng him about my God, as he was telling me about my God. I hope that I'm not blocked from your channel as I have nothing to say to you only in answering your comment. God's judgments are good and just I dón't want you to be intemidated by me as I wasn't addressing you. You talk about open fourm yet you don't want me to give my views to Dan. I don't know how you think this is delusional?
I've been trying to find the guitar chords for this song. Has anyone been able to figure it out? Being a girl who plays guitar, it is somewhat hard to find reasonably tempo'ed songs to play and sing campfire style and this one would be nice.
this is a very haunting song. I was in CVS and heard this song and it rung with me in an eerie way...almost like toys coming to life and scaring the heck out of kids or something.....haha!
Genius producing and mixing of all the crazy sounds in here!!!.. and I love Inara's angel voice (kinda reminds me of the cute chick in the Cardigans' voice) and the cute way she bobs her head at 0:13...that and the retro dress, sooooooo hot!!!!!!.... pleeeeeeease keep making music!!!.. you guys are amazing!!!...
the video is an old PSA called "Drugs Are Like That" One of my fave lines is "You can even sniff 'em?" "Sniff drugs?" "Yup, sniff 'em... like a flower!"
Brings back memories of watching film strips in grade school circa early 80s. Most of them were from the 70s. Very nostalgic vibe, maybe because Inara george is around the same age.
I have seen a live version of this song comcast's rehersal TV channel on their ONDEMAND service a few years ago. It was absolutely awsome, less hypnotic. any one know where i can find archives...I've looked and even contacted the band
A more adventurous Trip Hop with less emphasis on the Hip Hop moiety of the amalgam, and heavy, coltish emphasis on 'trippiness'...All nods to Bacharach and Morricone yet in place.
Oooh, I *knew* this was vintage film footage! It's "Drugs Are Like That" narrated by Anita Bryant. I'm obsessed with this song; everyone's tired of me playing it.
OMG I LOVE THE BIRDS AND THE BEES AT FIRST I DIDNT RELLY LIKE THIS SONG BUT NOW I LOVE IT AND ALL THE OTHER SONGS TOO!!!! KEEEP GOING I KNOW ONE DAY ULL SHINE!!!! xoxoxo wayde
this video almost reminds me of my kids...they are twins, but they don't have legos yet, they are only 4. so they have the giant legos they cannot choke on......the 70's aspect reminds me of my OWN childhood lol ....
...the shole thing has a sort of "sweetness of childhood" effect which applies to my past and my kids present...so cute
not so cute: my kids, of course , think the video is boring and terrible (sorry!) but u know how kids are...
while i love this song, Bjork is another classification of brilliant.
true enough a number of bjork songs are irritating, the sheer creativity of her work is undenyable.
an entire album with only the human voice for source sounds icl. using beatboxers for beats? and a best selling one @ that. unusual for a concept album.
or using volcanic mud bubbling noises looped to form beats for another album.
bird and bee is much more accesable i have to say~ even sugar cubes was hard to swallow.
" hard to swallow" is a good way to describe it. Birthday is probably the only song I really like. B&B definitely more Jazzy and accesible, and definitely a breath of fresh air in a time of real crappy songs.
Heard this song in Starbucks earlier this afternoon and HAD to find out who these people are. I am smitten! and this video... I played with Brix Blox nonstop when I was a youngster. This is all really to perfect!!!! GAH!
Yeah, I heard "Again and Again" while shopping at Lowe's, and actually stopped so I could write the lyrics on the back of my business card so I could later find out who they were... since then I've met them both and enjoyed their live music. Phenomenal!
haha! I've actually just discovered them - last night after a gig I was at Perkins (the only thing open at that late hour) and this song came on. I couldn't concentrate on anything else - or think about anything else until I got home and Googled it! Years ago it would have been impossible to track down the song, since it pretty much has a wordless hook.
Looks like my old home super 8mm movies from the late 60's and very early 70's. It reminds me of my childhood around 3 and 4 yrs old. Those old memories seems so dream like nowadays but at least I still remember them.

This song is about how everything is just out of your reach...the cookie jar, pacifier, making your legos work, a child biting his fingernails then an adult biting his....childhood slips away. The problems of youth are replaced with the problems of adulthood. The middle-aged obese man [with a briefcase] hopscotches like a child perhaps idealizing that youth was a carefree time [a symbol of midlife crisis] until he is knocked down and forced into reality. Great song!
