I played this for 2 years. Its multiplayer only but its pretty much past its used by date as it was released June 04 but by Jan 06 I could hardly find a server with anyone to play. Just a few hard core regulars per night - say 200 at most filling a couple of servers.
My friends and I play this game every weekend. You can find a hundred or so servers with several hundred players online on any given night. We also have lan parties with this game. We just had one this last weekend. Its perhaps the best coop game ever made. I have over a thousand maps in my collection and 5 mods.
ah.... heres what you do go into a server any server at all after you get into the server press Ctrl + ~ (tile) then type in "pb_security 0" and thats it. if you can't get into a game server just use Notepad in the Notepad type in "pb_security 0" again and save the file as "pbcl.cfg" and drag it or copy it to your Joint Ops "pb" folder and that should be it. Hope you understand it!!

I just checked a minute ago and there were 279 servers up and 400 players online. This was midday on a tuesday.
