Used to like Tamiya until i got wise and found much better companys with better construction stonger parts and smoother faster Backyard Bashers = too competion cars Tamiya and Kyosho are expensive OLD design cars mass produced and over priced its disgusting so glad when i see CLONES doing it better and Cheaper
I have a re-release Hornet, hotshot built and a frog NIB. My favourite as a child in the 80s was the Hotshot for sure. Too expensive for a 7yr old in 85. I latter had the Top Force and that was the best car I owned.
i don't like tamyia that much. but my favourite is the hornet or the hot shot because my friend has a hotshot with the stock motor and it bashs ok for those brushed 1986 cars
Bought The Frog back in 1985. A couple of years later it was stolen by a "friend". I have missed it ever since. It'll probably forever be my favourite Tamiya model.
Thank you for all your comments. It's great to see that there are so many Tamiya junkies out there. Let me know your favourite Tamiya model and keep the comments coming.
Ya I have 3 Bigwigs. One has a custom fabricated all aluminum chassis. All brushless running on 11.1 volt lipo's. 24 years old with modern technology. lol!
@NEALF150 The memories! My parents bought me and my brother HotShots for our birthdays a LONG time ago, i absolutely loved it! This video is great to see. I also remember when the BigWig came out. MAN! I wanted one soooo bad! Never ended up getting one, but im very temped now to pick up a few of these old kits just for fun as they have re-released a lot of the old kits.
