This is unbelievable. Last week i got this link ipad2reward (dot) info from my friend. Normally i don't believe any of this shit. Just participate in some kind of iPad2 Test program and get iPad2 for free. The word "Free" doesn't really exist in this world. The day after i tried give my email their and joined the program. And you know what! A Brand New iPad2 is in my hand now. I can't really believe this. And you don't have to believe me. But 3 friends of mine even got that thing before me.
I have a question for you. I have a Scala Rider FM. It has an FM radio built into it. I cannot get the Scala Rider to receive my Belkin tune cast 2 FM radio transmitter radio signal any other radio in my home will pick it up fine and even in my car. I have even purchased a bluetooth audio adaptor made by Icombi its the AG12. I cannot get that to pair with the scala rider either. Do you have any suggestions for me?
The Scala Rider does something that was not possible before, helmet to helmet private communication between two motorcycle riders. I like Scale blue tooth because I get turn-by-turn directions from my TomTom navigation device and can answer my blue tooth telephone as well as talk to my wife on her motorcycle. Scala Rider receiving FM radio was a bonus. Scala has improved the system by adding a mini-jack to the headset to connect iPod, so fm transmitter idea shown is now obsolete.
The Scala has the worst speakers I have ever heard for music. The ones you get on an airplane for free are better. Plus none of them have A2DP, so if you intend to do music get something else.
can u please tell me how do u pair it with a gps!?? i only try to pair it at home and i can see the scala rider set on my gps but when i listen to it from my headset nothing happens?? do i have to try it only if im riding my scooter outside? thank you all if u can help...
I gotta say (IMHO) if you're going with a bluetooth intercom, nothing beats the motorcycle GPS with built in mp3 player. Having the playback controls, phone and nav on a mounted touchscreen is the only way to go. If you think $500+ for a GPS is too much, and fumble with multiple devices while driving, please reconsider. If you're a "set it and forget it" person, and spend a lot of time making playlists you'll never need to fast forward, then it probably doesn't matter.
The Q2 has an FM Receiver. I purchased the FM transmitter seperately. If you get the newest Q2 headset, it will have a mini jack to hook up an audio player and you won't need the FM transmitter.
thanks man, you've been more help then the makers of the product. I will be enjoying listening to my music while I ride the back roads. Shinny side up.
Yes, worth the price. I would buy it again. BTW, the newest headsets have a jack to plug in an audio player. I got the new kit and I am very happy with it. Occasionally, my wife and I ride wearing half helmets without the Scala gear and I miss being able to discuss breaks or directions.
thanks man, I believe I'll be buying the Q2. I looked at the morotcycle super store, but they said that they have not heard that it could be connected to a mp3 player. Yes it was the Q2 that they had, so I guess they don't know what they are talking about. I might foward them this vid. Again, thanks for the feedback. Good riding.
To clarify, this only works with Scala Rider models with embedded FM radio, such as the Scala Rider FM and Scala Rider Q2. It does not work with the standard Scala Rider or Scala Rider Teamset. According to Cardo, there is no way to add MP3 to these latter models (even with bluetooth since they don't contain MP3 profiles). Stereo is also not available since all Scala Riders contain only a single speaker.

I've read a lot of bad reviews about the Q2. Have you ever used it? And if so, would you say it was worth the price.
