  • this sounds extremely like acoustix but acoustic slways snaps at the solos

  • so good!

  • Awesome rendition!

  • im trying to re-write this and ive gotten through the whole thing up untill about 2:32 and im fairly stumped... :/

  • awesome barbershop version of sousa's masterpiece - it's a keeper - thanks hvp

  • Very nice, guys! Great sound, keep on singing!

  • If you listen to it carefully, you do hear the "L" sound when he says flag of flags

  • how can two people dislike this masterpiece? i would make a independence concert because of this song

  • This is indeed Acoustix. And, a terrific rendering of this American patriotic standard

  • Lolz 0:50 "It's the flag of fags"

  • @TheCrazyCello flag of flags. talk shit about the flag again and ill shove one so far up your ass youll be puking red white and blue for a month.

  • @Snyder7077 Just quoting what was sung. Besides, what's wrong with the stars and stripes representing freedom and liberty for people of all colours and creeds - including fags. Homophobic much?

  • @TheCrazyCello So just disrespectful of you

  • Absolutely fantastic. I appreciate good music like this. Today's music lacks skill and finesse.

  • this is a very well done accpula song

  • Nothing says "fuck yeah America" like a wicked overtone at the end! Happy 4th of July!

  • Magnificent! Very challenging piece.

  • I remember that the first time I listened to this, it was May 1st. Later that day, Osama Bin Laden's death was announced. Coincidence? I think not.

  • One alien has disliked this because of their kind can't sing such great chords

  • @dfghjzx I hope you mean extraterrestrial because all kinds of people can understand chords, wether they may be in a country legally or not. America's enemy isn't non-citizens, it is it's own enemy.

  • Where would I get the sheet music for this?

  • This is proof that aliens must be real. This kind of blending and tone is out of this world!

  • Definitely Acoustix! They're AWESOME!!

  • Did NOT know this song had amazing lyrics like this. Sounds better than any sound an instrument can produce :)

  • it is acoustix who sings this song, tenor: todd wilson, lead: rick middaugh, baritone: jason january, bass: jeff oxley

  • Apparently some of you don't understand that "Unknown Quartet" was something we humans call a 'joke'. He knows who the quartet is, so you obviously commented only in the beginning of the video without any such consideration.

  • Saw them perform this at UCI several years ago. I have this CD and love it!

  • Still great, but does anyone else think the live version on here sounds even better?

  • @zachman47 I agree, it's got more heart. Maybe cos we're seeing it live, I dunno. Still bloody good though.

  • Saw them sing this on the 4th of July at International Convention in Calgary a number of years ago. A GREAT moment in my life.

  • Unknown?! It says it right on the freaking picture of their album. Get with the program.

  • awsome song

  • wow did you seriously say an unknown quartet... just wow. Its obviously the acoustix because it on their ALBUM... STARS AND STRIPES FOREVER!

  • I do love the Acoustix, but I was glad to see Jeff leave them and sing with Max Q. Jeff just seems to have more fun singing with Tony DeRosa than he does singing with any member of the Acoustix...plus I like Max Q better, lol.

  • Let's go America!!

  • Acoustix is right
