Think about 17 & 18 years older. How can this categorizing them as "ADULT" without providing them a system to independent themselves from their parent & live their own life into the society? Moreover, They are still gone to high school? So we call them "ADULT?" No! They don't even allow neither to buy liquor & tobacco nor work for somewhere. Dream Act must have to change its age limitation as before earning High school Diploma instead of allowing only for under 16.

Unless give the benefit to all (who initially came in U.S. as well as taking high school education, before earn the diploma) or give them the partial optional benefit as allowance to join the military except going to college 2years in order to earn CPR, It's better don't make it! I have a dream too, not only you the people who initially came here under 16. I can't do anything this? Day but just stuck in home. wanna join the military, and finish my engineering degree.

For mine, because of my record on my visa, I can’t take advantage for this part because I came in U.S. legally. So, These are the reasons I’m not happily agreeing with this Dream Act bill. It simply sucks to me, and this is totally A FUCTUATION. AUTHOR? OF THIS LAW MUST BE IDIOT, PERIOD.

P.s. I’m a non-smoker and I’m still paying tax every single year.

Let's take a look at my case. I had entered the U.S. legally but because of my father’s legal status, who didn't even apply for 245i law in the past 12 years ago (back then I knew he was qualified) in order to follow the righteous legal way, meanwhile other undocumented immigrants’ get? Benefit of it through their kids even if those kids weren’t entering their age under 16, and confess their age were below 16 because there’s no proof about it.

@PlanetOwner Actually, I'm pretty sure they will look into your school records. This might also help you in your case. If you finished High School, went to college for at least 2 years, you're applicable.

If this bill passes, you can get a lawyer to get your status cleaned, because to every law there is always a small Exception, and I'm sure you will be one of them.

I remember my lawyer said this would also help people who's visas expired long ago, and over-stayed.

Here's another reason I disagree with this bill, because afraid if this gets passed somehow and democratic party won’t seriously consider the next immigration reform, because they may have a feel safe from taking responsibility of immigration reform, and they think they achieved it as partially. Well then how about other undocumented immigrants who don't have kids?

They are practically nothing different than below 16 in sort of under parental dependency. Think about it, what they? Could do when their entire family moving toward another country & other place? Just change yourself to the situation of them. They have no way at all. Age limit is totally meaningless, ridiculous and notion-less.

I came here U.S. in 2001, with H4 visa status under my father’s regard of H1B? - He was the Marine Engineer At that time I was 18, and so I had enrolled in public high school as Junior(supposed to be senior but only because of the reason language enhancement). I graduated from year 2003. My status got expired year 2004 when my father’s sponsor kicked out my father for his stupid financial reason. He was a damn ill-responsible person I have ever seen In my entire life.
