  • Whos that guy with that thing in his ear and the retarded accent? How can some1 like that get into the european parliament?

  • @MrJohnnyexcellent- excellent at talking shite? Farage isn't perfect like anybody else and nobody is the perfect hero politician- BUT- the vast majority of what he says is TOTALLY correct about these snivelling, self serving twats running the EU- especially Schulz who tells us that we, the people of Europe, don't have time to worry about politics and referendums because we're all too busy worrying about other stuff- in other words he will tell us all what to do and how dare we disagree?- TWAT!!

  • this is great lol, come to american congress!

  • Our greatest politician!

  • Farrage's humor is as lame as his character and gayass accent is, he's rather clueless, all the major decision are still made by the separated governments of the EU members, not in Brussel, his fake anger is a pointless farce. The Brits behaved ridiculously egoistic during their EU period - an obstacle not an ally, I've never heard of a British veto against the USA but in the EU they still want to play superpower which they are not in the least, only this Polish twin clowns were even more funny.

  • @MrJohnnyexcellent

    traitor, whore or fool

  • #Moviemoment.

  • farage is a political gangsta!

  • i fuking love this guy we need one like that here in america

  • I hate the EU and all it stands for!

  • they're trying to change the subject

watch Roman Empire Rules Today New World Order on google vid

look at what the guy says at 11 mins about the 4th reich coming in - why was the EU treaty signed in Rome by Tony Blair

do your homework and use the net while we can

  • @timewilltell7 dude please stop with check this out stuff

rome was like 2000 year later then the ancient egypte

or preffer me to tell you to check that out

cuz ancient Egypt is older then ancient rome empire

an most conspircy people would say it started then

least it is said the bloodlines existing in the top nowadays

    come from that time

  • HE'S BEEN PUT THERE BY THE BILDERBERG GROUP

    GOOGLE THIS

    FOUNDED BY EX NAZIS

ALL ROADS LEAD TO ROME - THATS WHY TONY BLAIR SIGNED THE EU TREATY IN ROME

    WATCH FREEDOM TO FASCISM

and before you call me "conspiracy theorist" all a conspiracy is is two or more people getting together to achieve an end - there are millions of them

  • Nigel is right we need to get out of the EU ASAP

  • I had to laugh when I heard Martin Schulz began loudly shouting at 2:20 - all i could think of was "Hitler, Hitler, Hitler"

  • Put that wet rag out to pasture! I really like this Farage guy...he reminds me of Congressman Ron Paul! He should be their Prime Minister.

  • Nigel is the Man!

  • I like the look on that kraut baldy's face when Nigel mentions the Nazis! lol

    Vote UKIP.

  • The voice of truth!

  • blood germans, no sense of humour

  • Fucking banker reptilian he almost start shape shifting while Nigel was talking..World war against evil forces coming soon...EU is Satanic -Illuminati project -modern slavery enforced by strong police force

  • Speeches like this are what politics should be about. The rest of them are a stuffy old farts.

  • Farage was right in asking Van Rompuy "Who are you?" like i am right to ask Farage who the hell he is. I've never heard of Farage either

  • @jurodens Maybe not. Does that make what he says incorrect?

  • Comment removed

  • wow, what a kindergarden fight... and these are the people who lead us!!

  • @CT2507 Farage is right though!

  • @donvalentijn He is not for christ sake!

Belgium is NOT a non-country.How dare you say 10 million people are living in a non-country.

That sir is a scandalous insult!

  • @MrWebster717 Maybe not about Belgium. I didn't point to that really. But who the f*ck is van Rompuy? Who the fuck voted for him? And where the f*ck is European democracy?

  • @donvalentijn Well it wasn't direct democracy but indirect democracy. You voted for a representative of your country and they all agreed to vote him for president.

Besides has he done anything wrong so far?

  • @MrWebster717 Indirect democracy? We have voted for an European law. We have voted NO. We got it anyways, because our representatives wanted it, but the people didn't. So far with democracy. Even if we would have got the chance to vote for an european president our national representative would have made his own choice anyways. That looks more like a dictatorship than democracy to me... Now there is an European State, with an European president that we have no influence on at all.

  • @MrWebster717

But that doesnt make the rest of his story less true.

  • @man1192803 Well the European countries are stronger together, if you don't want to be part of the EU you can get out whenever you want, the door is always open, for those who want to join or leave...

  • @MrWebster717

    HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA

Not me, but YOU need to get the fuck out!

The majority of the people DONT WANT THIS FISCAL UNION, so YOU need to get the fuck out of this union!

Were taking it back, you watch!

  • @man1192803 I've been watching from the beginning, seems like you've done nothing so far.

  • but all we've got is YOU ... HAHAHAHAHHA

  • Problem, Rompuy?

  • And is it polite Mr Schultz to talk to president with one hand in your pocket?

  • that fat fella @ 1:00 looks like doberman from the sgt bilko show

  • Im belgian ... Do you know that, this guy had a plane crash a few days later ? Don't fuck with belgium ... Or you will pay ...

Just see if you don't trust me ... /watch?v=avVprbFUd7E

Read the description of the video you will see that it was a few time after he injured Herman ...

  • @slidem2k

Pffff you're not belgian, you're a fake frenchie. walen kan de kanker krijgen.

  • @slidem2k Lol, a few days later? More like a few months.

  • Farage lost my respect here

  • rompuy is just another yid puppet.nigel knows that.but doesnt want to be too blunt

  • This is what will cause the fall of the West... not Islam, not socialism, not capitalism. It is this cynicism and utter contempt for morality and values.

  • I'm so happy to have both Nigel Farage and Daniel Hannan representing my constituency. They some of the few politicians that actually represent their voters and we need more mep's like them.

  • If van Rompuy didn't even have the balls to respond to such nonsense, and put this guy back on his chair, he isn't deserved to be called "a leader" imo.

A true leader would have obliterated that man verbally...

  • Belgium a non-country?

we faced of napoleon, julius ceasar even said:Of all people i went up againt , the belgians were the bravest of them all. but that was because they were dressed up as barbarians...

  • @ThePacefie He was referring to the period of time RECENTLY when Belgium HAD NO GOVERNMENT. He's not talking about historical achievements.

  • @shaneymane15 IT WASN'T RECENTLY, IT'S STILL GOING

  • @ThePacefie Ok, so that invalidates your comment even more.

  • @shaneymane15 no it doesn't

  • legend lol

  • @iddo555

    Lower class scum

  • nigel farage is a bitch of the common people

what the fuck is he doing in the euro parlement

  • Love Nigel Farage, Greetings from Germany

  • Nigel Farage couldn't have said it better.

  • Belgian here. Nigel is angry but he's getting the wrong target. You all are. As stated here, Van Rompuy was not elected. "They" offered an old man a very good chair. And the old guy said yes. Why ? So you all could hate the puppet. Who's running all this ? Van Rompuy or Barosso, Sarkozy and Merkel ? In these coments i read, it's as if this guy had any power. He has none. And the non-country part, what's the point of saying that? We didn't vote for Van Rompuy and CAN'T vote for a NO.

  • ...ROFL

Belgium...which is pretty much a non country....

    so true

  • is that guy with white hair crying

  • Lol I love how they try and tell him off.. he doesn't care, he quite rightly hates the EU and everything those wet rags stand for

  • What a badass lol.

  • xD Oh yes!! That was my exact reaction when I say Van Rompuy!

  • Regardless of the opinions of German wanabees like mir Herrottofuckwit puss features says

  • In contrast to the Poles, Hungarians or Romanians...in fact when it did show a video of Poland with images that were supposed to be from 1984 where a bunch of people were hanging out with a banner that said "Gazeta polska"...Gazeta Polska is a newspaper that started is existence in...1993!!! which shows that there are classes in the EU, that video was Imperialistic and German and didn't give a toss for Eastern Europe at all treating them as second class..

  • the EU even came up with a video (about the destruction of communism) last year, naming it the anniversary of the entrance of Eastern European states...on it it showed videos of people standing against soviet tanks, bla bla bla if you watched the disgusting piece of trash you would think it was only the East Germans who were standing up against the Russians (actually the East Germans were who least resisted to the commies, in fact they were willing collaborators take for example teh stassi)

  • I can't believe they can just shut off his mic like that.

  • i've watched this vid dozens of times and that fat bloke @ 1:00 has always reminded me of someone and i could never quite place him , but i've just realised it's doberman from the phil silvers show , bilko

  • I suddenly feel a surge of North American pride.

  • he's been f in the ass

  • @crazyboyxx I Briton sticking with a fellow countryman, I guess? Well, I don't care debating national prejudice. Xenophobia? Racism? I am afraid you invented both things and have been practicing ever since.

  • @HerrOttoKranz British racist?is that why people from all over the World make Britain their first choice after the USA to gain citizenship?MMMM just realised, poor people from all over the world make the USA then Britain then Canada,Australia their first choices. What do they all have in common?Oh yeah their ex British Colonies. We anglo Saxons are soooooooooo racist.Tell me why do they not flock to spain?

  • @sysmoute I am not German but Spanish (learning the lenguage, that's the reason of the nickname). You are ethnically and of course geographically Europeans: many of your ancestors are of Germanic origin, so is your language. I certainly don't have to recall you the important role GB has played in world history, but let's make some things clear: a) a parliamentary system at home does not mean the same treatment for the rest of your colonies b) yes, luck matters Mr. Sysmoute, and you have had it.

  • @sysmoute And coming back to the EU, it is esentially a good idea, and you do not have serious reasons to feel theatened. The issue which should be the object of debate right now is the decay of Western civilization and the loss of identity. Bureaucrats should be slashed, I agree, but the project as a whole is valid. Europe is no longer the center of the world, and unity means power. I believe me, I do respect you, I know your achievements very well, but you are naturally conniving. Good day.

  • Our monetary system is based on credit or debt, and without constantly continuing issuance of debt, the whole thing falls apart. Our system of ‘fractional reserve banking’ gives commercial banks a licence to literally create money out of thin air – and then charge interest on the money they created. Fractional reserve banking is the cause of spiralling debt.

The biggest public campaign has started to abolish fractional reserve system. Visit POSITIVEMONEY website and JOIN the CAMPAIGN!

  • Just look at this van Rompuy! His "attitude" consists of sitting there while facing this massive criticism, starring mildly annoyed in the other direction and trying to look like a bored monarch - as if it all would be tiny matters to him.

Really - the way he reacted (literally not at all), pretty much showed what a spineless douchebag he is. Consider this plus the excellent payment he receives and you know, where his political integrity lies. Somewhere in the shitter!

  • So British! Please sir, represent France as well as UK, I'm ashame that that children lover Daniel Cohn Bendit represent France. Always listen an English man shouting around for democracy!

  • 1:03 When Rompuy looks to the heavens, who is the guy behind his left shoulder?. He looks like the godfather. BTW, they should bar Schultz.

  • Am I really too sleepy now or I really do see that widely-smiling teddy bear without teeth at 02:04 ?

  • @kript0s well that guy is Guy Verhofstadt and he is just like Van Rompuy a former prime minister of Belgium. and he is the leader of the liberal fraction in Europe he does alot of things for europ and is olmost an institution on himself. he could be at Barosso's place put tony blair opsed himseft to that because he is to much pro-europ, if he would have barosso's place we wouldn't have al the problems with Greece today

  • Mr. Farage got HUGE British balls!

  • Mr. Farage got HUGE British BALLS!!!

  • President ballsack?

  • Look at those fat lizards clapping Herman Van Rumpoy. Who are those assasins of democracy, who sent them? Bilderberg? banksters? who???????

Bravo Nigel Farage , you are our hero and true defender of our rights. All ideas of common Europe and integrity are againts laws of nature. People want to be free and decide for themselves within their historical and traditional customs, laws and borders. European Union is an artificial product of "lizards"Rompuy and his employers.

  • Rompuy looks like and evil shitbag.. Nigel Farage for Prime Minister!

  • HAHAHAH, I'm afraid that this E.U was just another bureaucracy created by an elite group of people who had the idea of having the best of the USSR and the United Staes. Yes, I hope it crashes to and give these Individual nations there rights back to the people.

  • Buzek you pussy! You got no power to stop him.

  • Europe WILL fall lalalalalala XD

  • I never heard of him as well.. many thanks to Mr. Farage for pointing this matter and in such an hilarious way. Really that Leprechaun deserved it. Lol

  • I voted for Nigel Farage's United Kingdom Indepedence Party (UKIP) in the European elections and I'm absolutely delighted with the UKIP MEPs for showing up the European Union for the corrupt, anti democratic and criminal led organisation that it truely is. The ruling Conservative and Liberal alliance should hang their heads in shame for not giving a referendum to the British people on our continuing membership of the EU. The sooner Great Britain leaves the EU the better.

  • Hahahaha, the look on the face of Van Rompuy! Naming him a 'damp rag' is only mild considering Van Rompuy's charisma. All the politicians that have no balls are applauding Schulz at 2:37.

  • well all political people are scum, but at least this scum is entertaining. Might as well be amused by the elite that takes you hard and unwillingly from behind.

  • @dianna777dee

God doesnt exist and the Church is a pile of garbage...

The Church didnt do shit during the holocaust, The KKK openly held their meetings at the churches where THEY WERE WELCOME and planned out acts of violence/rape against blacks and jews, Christian Wars have killed more people than all other wars combined, Slave Masters Brain Washed blacks into Christianity and manipulated the text to make it righteous, a KING Editted the Bible...wake up idiot

  • Such foul and insolent statements like this could attract the Spanish Inquisition, amongst whose weaponry are such diverse elements as: fear, surprise, ruthless efficiency, an almost fanatical devotion to the Pope and nice red uniforms.

  • @FireEyedMaidOfWar

Foul and Insolent? Then you must think the same of the truth....because I can back up my comments with many sources

  • @cjm291: But are you aware of the dangers? Remember: Old Galileo could prove his discovers too but still he has chosen to deny them! So you should type in first “Monty Python” and “Spanish Inquisition” to see what unexpected menace awaits you!

  • @cjm291 I'm not a Christian and I don't really care what your opinion on them is but I'm interested in knowing what Christian Wars have killed more people than World War 1 & 2, The Second Congo War, The Korean War, The Vietnam War and The Russian Civil War combined (just to name a few non-Christian Wars).

  • @cjm291 What Christian wars are you referring to?

  • Hm, Diana, by the way: You need to reschedule. It's only 196 days left....

  • Wow, dianna777....

To all others: See what I mean? That's what it looks from outside if you start hoping for someone to save you...

  • But let me say this - and I don't want to be rude: The problem is you folks here really seem to believe in the great saviour who'll solve all the shit. Bad luck to you. Ain't none. No saviour. No "good guy". Just another politician who, in this case plays the card of voicing our feelings.

This guy is just as fake as they all are. He's like the little boy who gets a cool haircut to be with the gang of the cool guys. Dismissed.

  • Fact is, I know who he is, just like he knew who van Rumpoy is. But I didn't vote him, like I never voted for anybody who is in that parlament.

  • Question is: Who the fuck is Nigel Farage? Who voted THIS guy?

  • @Ocabreiro1 Nigel Farage is one of the few politicians who hasn't been purchased by the bankers. He does seem very mean spirited in this video but he actually is one of the good guys. Please see other videos of this man. You will see that he wants to protect the common person. He will not protect the bankers.

  • @Ocabreiro1 The people of britain ^^

  • Mr. Buzek come back to teach chemistry instead of correcting so good politician as Mr Farage is.

  • @Tarn1968 Well, keep in mind that they are nothing more than puppets. They only make a move when the puppet master pulls on the string and even then, only into the direction where the string is being pulled. Very sad, very low but that's how it is today. Watch the videos on this subject:

    -Inside Britain's Israel lobby

-How Zionists Divide and Conquer by Dr. David Duke

Also watch David Duke's other videos. A treasure trove of information from an honest, decent, true american patriot.

  • rompuy =rumpa(swedish)=ass/butt

  • Shut the hell up Schulz, you baldheaded chicken fucker! Nigel is right when he is asking: who the hell are these people anyway?! Well, we all know. These are the puppets selling out our countries, serving anybody but their own people. And the more they say the word "democracy", the more you feel like throwing up.

  • Schultz is a Kleingeist and a despicable person! Always those nazi-Hitler comparisons from him as a German i can't hear it anymore. What kind of parliament is that when a diffrent opinion to some topic makes you a nazi?

Btw Schultz was caught (who not?) fiddling with the attendance list.According to the list he was in parliament but some German reporter proved that he was in Germany at that time. But nothing happend to him.He is still babbling in Brussels!

  • Farage is the man..who is this man that the so-called voters elected to be a man of power. He gets paid more than then the US president? Why..How..They want a finacial slave europe!

  • Haha this is brilliant. That Rumpy Pumpy got his arse handed to him by Nige.

  • Van Rompuy looks like a cross between STEPHEN MERCHANT and YODA.

FACT! Thumbs up if you agree with my assessment. Also, pause his face at 30 secs. Hilarious.

  • @heytobyXD the Belgium people hate us Brits?? that's fine Belgium is a shit hole non-country,were not going to lose any sleep over it. i could not wait to leave the place, literally the most untidy ignorant country ive ever been to. besides that you should fucking love us Brits I didn't hear of your pussy assed army defending your country during ww1 instead it was down to the boys of the commonwealth, so stand down you fucking third world dipshit and get back to your cave!!!

  • @Cal0619 As De Gaulle said, 'Belgium: a country invented by Britain to annoy the French.'

Britain freed Belgium in both world wars, I await belgian assistance in the next war.

  • @maureenOWW ah go watch some harry potter you britain cunt

  • @woodcow100 Typical Europeans. Most of you don't understand democracy because from time to time your run by dictators.I wish we could have put up an iron curtain and kept out of all your fucking wars instead of having to spill our blood fighting them to save you. Most Brits don't consider themselvs Europeans. And don't reply saying we should fuck off,cos that's what we realy want to do,so your remarks are wasted.

  • @sysmoute Yes, yes you always want to fuck off... but you are in the EU anyway, and you even fought for it. Do you want to leave? I don't really think so, because then thousands of Britons living in EU countries like Spain would lose a lot of things. "I'm not European, I'm English"... corny British humour I guess. Nobody discusses your glorious past (of oppression) and your incredible luck throughout History, but the empire is gone, and today you need the EU. You are so full of yourselves...

  • @HerrOttoKranz Let's get one thing straight Herr Otto.a,My Farther and his generation certainly did NOT fight for the EU b,Given the vote we would pull out.it is the political class who want in,just like in the rest of Europe.c,Believe me,most Brits do not feel European c,corny humour?Coming from a German/Austrian? is that your irony?d,glorious past?what end of the slave trade?kick starting the world with the industrial revolution or Churchill saving the world from the Nazis?e,you need us more.

  • @HerrOttoKranz Luck throughout history?Don't make me laugh. And what luck would that be then? The luck of having to sort out Europes mess in both the 19th and 20th century...Herr Kaiser bill,Herr Hitler and before them the little French corporal?Or was it the luck of not being held back by the catholic religion? Tell me what luck are you talking about?

  • @HerrOttoKranz (part two)A free hand to rape Europe and Russia for all your military material, the ability to trade unhindered with the rest of the world. Many wanted us to sue for peace included the Bavarian corporal but it is to Britains everlasting credit that we went against national interests and carried on the War,and when we got our act together after el alemein we never lost a major battle with Germany. It was Britain that broke your enigma codes and we won all the Sea battles.

  • @HerrOttoKranz The Euro project is flawed. If Germany is happy to waste it's wealth propping up a left wing project, well the very best of luck to you. When you get a bit older and start paying tax you may change your fluffy views.A wise old lady once said to me....It's very fine to have left wing views when you are young but as you get older and wiser, you just look silly. So go ahead spend all your wealth on a corrupt system,we will try to get out as soon as we can.

  • @sysmoute Once again, Mr Sysmoute, I am Spanish, just living in Germany right now. I thank you for your interest in my comments in the first place, and don't take any of it as a personal attack. But neither you, nor anybody else will change my opinion on the anglosaxon world: you have always acted in your own interest -which is perfectly acceptable, everybody does it-. You didn't accept Hitler's offer because since 1938 you knew he was a lyar, and the Yanks entered the war after Pearl Harbor.

  • @sysmoute It is very true that you underwent sacrifices and human loses to stop Hitler (you forget to mention both Canadian and Aussie contributions), but didn't enter the war to defend Poland. And again, without the US and USSR all your efforts would have been in vain. From a military point of view the true heros are the Germans, who endured a savage bombing -you mercilessly pounded German civilians, remember Dresden- and resisted until the very end against three major powers.

  • Comment removed

  • @sysmoute Did you intervene in the Spanish Civil War to save the democratic Republic? Only a handful of Britons volunteered and after WWII you refused to topple Franco. I'm glad you brought up the early 19th century. Nelson, of course. And the Peninsular War, when you came to Spain to "help" us against Napoleon. Your troops treated the native civilian population very badly, not to mention the deliberate destruction of our incipient factories in order to avoid any future competition.

  • @HerrOttoKranz I said right at the start,I wish we didn't get involved in all your European Wars. Now you condem us for not getting involved in yet another conflict. You realy should read what I say.Oh yeah blame us for Spanish failure. So for 200+years Spain was backward because of Wellington...Classic.I can see why your so enthusiastic about the EU,Your used to corruption.Just wait until you are older and paying tax,you may change your mind.

  • @sysmoute The list continues: the brutal colonization of Ireland, with the horrible 1845-1852 famine that you did NOTHING to avoid, the iron fist in the overseas colonies... As late as 1943 Bengal suffer a terrible famine after you retired as many foodstuff as you could, fearing a Japanese invasion from the neighbouring Burma, and then denying any food supplies. Churchill dismissed the reports and joked about if Gandhi was already dead while thousands of Indians were starving.

  • Comment removed

  • @sysmoute It was not the first famine in India, however, with 19th century precedents of millions of deaths. India was just a market for your products, wasn't it? Now, of course we Spaniards are always the bad guys thanks to the false Black Legend your monarchs helped to foster. But despite some crimes our empire was by far the most merciful in History, a worthy heir to the Romans. I am proud of it, Mr Sysmoute, and again, I don't think you can talk of any British moral superiority.

  • @HerrOttoKranz Hahahahahahahahahahaah i can't believe you said "our Empire was by far the most merciful"tell that to the south Americans you wiped out.OK look at all post European colonies British, french

Spanish,Portuguese.Who are doing the Best? Cannda,USA,Australia.Nzealand,South Africa,India,Afican nations to many to mention or your ex Spanish colonies. And if we are soooo bad,why don't Gibraltarians want to go back to Spanish ownership?

  • @sysmoute Coming back to the EU, yes, we can discuss the Euro, the CAP... but it's essentially a good idea as a whole. You don't want to be part of it? Fine, leave. But while you are a member, be loyal. Don't sabotage everything, inside-job style. In my book the continent requires some sort of supranational organization to be effectively heard overseas. Defending this doesn't make me a leftist. And once again, the priority now should be our identity as Europeans. I rest my case.

  • @HerrOttoKranz You can discuss the CAP,but don't waste your breath,we have been trying to discuss it for the past 30 years. The french will not change it so just forget it.We don't want to sabotage it we want to get out.Why won't our leaders let us have the vote?Because they know the European people will call a halt to further Euro integration. It's corrupt it's wastefull it's just wrong. We want trade ,we do not want to be governed by non elected sleaze balls .

  • @HerrOttoKranz Britain is and has been a net contributor to the EU.When Spain starts paying it's way, then you can start having a dig at the British.I can remember Spain before all our (British taxpayer)money was pumped into your economy. Now look at you, drunk on other peoples money.Go sort your own country out before you start lecturering us about how we should behave. We pay more in and we have more inports from the EU than exports. You need us more than we need you. Accept it.

  • @sysmoute Mr. Sysmoute, I'm the first and fiercest critic of my country's failures, believe me, and you are right when pointing out some of them, namely the economy. I am not blaming you Britons for our current misery, or some past underdevelopment. My mention to Wellington and the British empire did not pursue such objective, I was just trying to point out that your behaviour -like the Yanks- has been usually the result of political calculation rather than solidarity with oppressed peoples.

  • @HerrOttoKranz It's no good going on about past crimes.Every country has dirty washing. But if you add up all the bad and weigh it up against the good,I think Britain and the USA can hold their head up high. You have to admit that if it wasn;t for the ANGLO SAXON countries which basicly means Britain and her ex colonies,we would all be speaking German and marching like geese. And when have we said we grew our Empire for the opressed?

  • @sysmoute But I can't allow lies to be told either. Despite some crimes I deeply regret, the Spanish Crown did much more for the sake of the natives than your monarchs. The fact is that colonial Central and South America in the 17 and 18th centuries were flourishing territories which you usually attacked, failing to take them thanks to the heroic defense of our soldiers AND its inhabitants. Yes, sure that Argentinians -just to put an example- have always yearned for British citizenship...

  • @HerrOttoKranz Argentinians may not want British citizenship, good luck to them,Why should they. But the Falklands will always be British, and that's where the oil is.

  • @HerrOttoKranz The simple fact is..Britain built up the infrastructure in our colonies. We gave law eduction a civil srvice a civilian Police force(another British invention) railways(another British invention) in return our colonists volunteered in their thousands when we were attacked, including the biggest volunteer army under British control throughout the War,The British Indian Army.Yeah the Indians really hate us Brits.

  • @sysmoute Yes, some Latin Americans are resentful, and demagogs like Chávez have contributed to the brainwash, but the truly educated ones, like Vargas Llosa, have a very different approach. It was after independence -the result of the will of the minoritarian wealthy landowners rather than that of the people- that things got messed up. Oh yes, America, NZ, Australia. You only missed saying they are successful because they were WASP and not inferior Catholic Latin wops. Nativism at its best.

  • @HerrOttoKranz Why are you telling me about your corrupt ex colonies?I'm not that interested. Just to put you straight.Britain want's to be a trading partner with our European friends. We do not want to be governed by a load of UNelected left wing corrupt, lying, incompetent anti democratic sleazeballs. What part of that are you having a problem understanding? Look at the Euro,we said it couldn't work, but the Euro fanatics want the project to succeed so much they ignore all reason.Amateurs!

  • @HerrOttoKranz Are you saying that Australia and New Zealand are successful because they are not "Catholic latin wops"? well there may be some truth in us not being Catholic, and following the Dutch business model,I won't argue with you on that, but don't put yourself down.I don't care why the USA/Austrailia/New Zealand/South Africa etc etc have done better than other non anglo saxon colonies, they just have. Why are you bringing racism into it? I thought we were talking about the EU.

  • @sysmoute We have NEVER segregated our residents, Mr. Sysmoute. In 1941, at the most fascist period of Francoism, an interracial couple could marry without any problems. There are examples. Yes, South Africa was undoubtedly a glorious British heritage: rich, but you only counted if you were white. We mixed with the peoples we found in America. That was unthinkable for the Mayflower crew, wasn't it? Is that your point, that economic success and race are tied?

  • @sysmoute More likely the ideas, and I must acknowledge your superiority in that field. But what did fuel your otherwise very meritorious Industrial Revolution? Just the brains of your inventors or also the cheap and abundant coal of the land? Do you know that Spain is just second to Switzerland in mountains and the inner country looks pretty much like a desert? We have made dreadful mistakes concerning our economy, we wasted a lot of gold from America, but we are not the lazybones you think.

  • @HerrOttoKranz Again stop putting words in my mouth.I have never called you lazy!Perhaps you have an inferiority complex, you should see someone about it..The fact is,for what ever reason,Britain started the industrial revolution, the other countries didn't.We have never wanted to dominate Europe,we have only ever wanted a free trade area.It was the French and Germans who have at one time or other wanted to rule Europe by force. We looked at Europe as a business oppertunity.

  • @sysmoute The fact that our model has been proven wrong does not mean we stay idle all day. And I am realistic. Of course GB is more important than Spain as a country. Of course we need the EU more than you do and we have profited from it. But since 1945 you aren't the major power you used to be either. So, why did you join in the first place? Why Mrs. Thatcher didn't just pull you out? Well, probably for the same reason she didn't dare dissolve the NHS, or the Poll Tax failed. Common sense.
