@AngryGundamGamer Completely agreed. The original animatronics were done by the Jim Henson Company, but it's obvious they couldn't get them for the 3rd movie OR the concert. Probably couldn't work out another contract.

It looks like they used the first concept costume for this commercial that was used for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Coming Out of Their Shells concert, the non-action costumes, minus the gawdy extras.

@gaffelnskje also an 86'er, it really was a good time to grow up as a kid in terms of cartoons and toys, we got the best of the 80's and 90's during this time. I had so many ninja turtles toys including these ones and real ghostbusters toys which were my two favs at the time.

Ah, the old suit from the Behind the Shells concert vid. Raph's and Mike's headbands looked exactly the same but I think it's supposed to be orange even though it looks like it could be red. Like they gave a crap back then.

I liked the original cartoon & the comics that it was based on were also cool. The figures also seemed nice, even though I outgrew most figures at the time so I never got into them (I still collected the several lines of Remco army figures & any old MASK, Real Ghostbusters, Gobots or any other figures I found at stores that I missed out on).

Frankly, in my opnion while the turtles would probably play all sports Mikey would be playing basketball, Leo would be playing baseball, Raph would be playing football, and Don would play soccer...and Raph and or Mikey would probably wrestle too.

Actually there was a Raphael figure that came out later on that was a soccer player. My sister and I got one for dad's desk at work because he he played soccer from grade school up til college.
