@str567z on a 4 stroke it has 4 strokes intake comp. power and exhaust when the intake valve opens fuel and air is drawn in and when the exhaust valve opens all thwe burned gasses go out during comp. and power both valves are closed on a 2 stroke intake and comp. is in 1 stroke and power and exhaust is in 1 stroke when the piston goes up the reeds open and mid wat through your powerband kicks in:) i hope this helped lol
