@Loyves7 yes and no, it is still physically fine, but it some of the rubber bumpers on the bottom had a tendency of falling out and the computer just got slow, if i were you i would save your money and but a laptop

@Emazin108 honestly after about a year of having this, its not worth it, i clean it daily and it still is very sluggish, whoever watches this should save up their money for a better, bigger laptop if anything

I have this with the 6 cell battery and it juts out at the back a bit (about 1 inch) but it dosnt really make any differrence and it is probably worth the 5 hours battery life

People dont know what their buying.... its a netbook... not a gaming Laptop. Windows 7 starter is more than you can ask for for a W7.....Its modern.... better than vista/XP... safer... faster.... better interface.... and the price for this little machine is just "right"...

what does it matter if its a gaming computer or not? besides if u have the hd option and 2 gigs of ram like i now have u can play games like call of duty 4, and xp still is faster than win 7 but the interface is alot better i will give it that, but program wise xp still has more out there because of its age so i prefer xp and vista just sucks in general ahaha

you need a external disk drive, or have the os on a usb, but from my experience xp is the best os for netbooks windows vista is slow, and windows 7 is fairly new and very expensive and complicated going from xp to win 7

well, i put ubuntu linux on a bootable flash drive and it worked. I didn't install because the wireless drivers aren't compatible. But i can always research.

from what ive been told..Windows 7 starter which is what this computer comes with now is much easier on the computer than XP, in other words, its much better. Who wants to buy XP now, it should be buried 10 feet under.

well windows 7 starter still uses more memory to run then xp, making it still slower than xp, ans windows 7 hasnt been out long enough to tell

Windows 7 was made for developing countries and here in the US for netbooks. It might require a bit more ram, but this is not even an excuse to say that XP would run better than it on a notebook. The difference is minuscule. XP is just too old, we are in 2010, would you buy a netbook knowing that it would probably last at least 5 years and have XP on it. Windows 7 > XP> Vista. XP is good, but its just too old to still be good in a couple years.

yes it is even if its your only computer most people underetimate netbooks, as long as you get a quality one like this its just fine, its not gunna be as good as like a gaming computer but its definatly up there

it does have wifi, B/G , and when i got it it was 320 but some places u can get it for 299, if i were you try to find the one with the 6 cell battery cuz the 3 cell dies in about 3 hours and the 6 cell dies in about 7 but ib=ve had it last 8 and a half

can you go on the internet and use this online with out being hooked up to verizon or sprint? I heard you have to have a contract with a carrier to use the internet and I was wondering if that was true? or if you could just use the free wireless networks or connect to your router?

that depends if u buy it from sprint or verizon then yes, but if u but it at best buy no u can just use your own wifi , there are two different versions, the one with the chip that lets u use the cell phone carriers signal is 425 or something in that range, the regular one is 100 dollars cheaper, and now the mini is down to 300 flat

this is very portable, and yes its upgradeable to 250 gigs, but i dont recomend bringing any comuter on a beach, the sand will get inside and screw things up but otherwise is portable

just search ccleaner on google and to open the camera like that, go to my computer. Drag ond drop "usb video device" on to the desktop and you can access it from there.
