I have a general question because I want to free some more skill points... Freezing spell increases the points you need to freeze spells of which are "occupied" by the frozen spells. I have read from IROWiki that the point calculation is also based on Base Level and Inteligence stat. Does this mean that we can have a lower level Freezing Spell? Also do we need Release lvl 2 to release all spells or can Release lvl 1 do that same?

Drain Life should have been a replacement for soul drain. You get SP and HP from killing something based off of their base level.

Exato... característica da Reading Spellbook + Freezing Spell... na vdd a ultima skill q eu usei foi a Comet em IC. (mas para usar essa skil sem castl você precisa ter o livro dela... o que provavelmente vai ser chato de conseguir ;p)

Great, this is the first usefull video of Warlock Skills I found on youtube.

I found it strange though, that Tetra Vortex does so little damage considering the preskills. Is it really that useless?

It's not useless now...Tetra Vortex and a lot of other skills were changed. You can now choose the elements of your TV hits (considering the order that you summon balls...it's a good point against some Bosses...;D)

I'm planning to make a updated video, when I get some free time (and when the lag let me play...)

But don't consider the damage on this movie..It's only to compare with other skills (This Warlock was on level 116~117 with about 9x Int..figure it with ~150 Int...;D)

I am not against their inclusion, as Ragnarok needs the change of pace. However, from what I can tell from the skills, each individual class is not balanced at all.

Of course, balancing each class also relies on equipment, and I have no idea what new cards Gravity will include.

The way I'm seeing your point of view, it's like, "3rd job is SO MUCH STRONGER than what we have now!" I'd be sad if it weren't, because that means you train for another 51 levels and get essentially nothing in return.

Not high rates, but yeah, the damage potential has to go up, because, what do you know, everyone's survivability went up too. Every class obviously gains lots of HP that make things like the original Bolt spells obsolete. Fact is you NEED more powerful attacks now.

I don't see why you're complaining about Warlock, it's obvious Guillotine Cross gets more stupidly OP (maybe broken) skills. The Wizard line always got the short end of the stick because the metagame was made on screwing them over.

Are you also aware of something called Cast Time and more importantly, Cast Delay? Any decent player would be able to kill something as weakly as a Warlock before they can finish that spell. There's also 10 MINTUES of delay before they can recast it. Comet is incredibly situational in which you can only use it when you know you're safe for ~5 seconds (long time in battle), and not at all for practicality.

You act like Assassins Crosses would go into WoE without EDP active, or High Wizards weren't always trying to get the ability to spam their AoEs before Renewal came in. I feel like it's over powered. Some 3rd classes aren't so impressive like Warlock does.

Belive, it only looks overpowered, but:

1)The WORST hp modifier of ALL the 3rd jobs.

2)None of their skills are chainable. Belive me, sorcerers are way more overpowered than warlocks. But, Warlocks are still my favourite class.

3)Reading Spellbook is overpowered? 10 seconds to memorize a single skill (4.5 sec cast, 5.5 cool down). BTW, in official servers, TV and Comet aren't memorizable, only in test server.

4)Comet only does full damage on the middle 1x1 cells, and TV takes a huge time to...

Well... we need to show the true for you guys. I'm not discouraging you to play with one, but, be prepared. They are VERY squshy, and aren't great in 1v1 pvp, but in WoE... that's where they shine: Massive Damage along with Great Status Effects (Burning for constant damage, freezing for let everybody like a 80 years old granny, AOE STONE CURSING, AOE STRIPING, etc...)

Yes, the catalists are the Spellbooks of the skill you want to have no cast. Eg: If i want to memorize jupitel thunder, i need to have it's spellbook :D

In the sakray renewal, they are sold in a npc, but at kro renewal, i'm not sure, since i don't play there. But maybe they are sold in a npc too. Btw, they are books, but they are not consumables. This means that with 1 book, i can read it indefinited times.

Bom.. todas as skills terão um cast fixo e irredutível por dex, sim... mas temos também os Spellbooks, que nos dão Instant Cast para skills préviamente salvas (porém tem q ficar renovando.. e o cast disso é um pouco... ALTO.. não é algo que se use sempre)

E provavelmente será dificil conseguir esses livros, mas nem tudo está perdido.. teremos IC sim ^^

No entanto, levemos em consideração o gasto que se tem no quesito SP — ao manter a skill memorizada — e o quesito Zeny — para adquirir os livros, uma vez que nada neste mundo é gratuito...

Estou ciente que no servidor de testes da Gravity, o preço dos livros é de 1 Z (continua abaixo)

Não obstante, devemos nos questionar quanto ao preço a ser imposto nos servidores oficiais. Devemos, também, levar em consideração a sustentabilidade dessa build, por estar liberado como 3-1/3-2 apenas 49 pontos (50 Níveis de Job)

Completando a explicação, leva-se em consideração que é necessário ter as seguintes skills para funcionar adequadamente: Release Nv 2, Freezing Spellbook Nv 5 e Reading Spellbook Nv 1... Soma-se aí um total de 8 pontos que não se deve desconsiderar.

Posso te garantir q realmente ta bem mais facil upar os lvls até 99.. mesmo de trans (e olha q só ta 10x no renewal, e eu upava pouco.. sempre solando) mas pra pegar 150 ta complicadinho...

Quanto ao GX.. não posso falar com ctz pq não testei, mas parece q a maioria das skills dá pra se usar com duas adagas.. o problema é q o lvl da arma agora conta mto no dano, mas vamos ver.. a mão slave nunka foi mão pra mtos danos, no caso de dagger sin.. xD
