  • wow that look so good, Im defienetaly making that !

  • Greatest meal evur.

  • Is the recipe from The Gourmet Cookbook? It's almost identical, except I believe in that book they don't add beef stock. I want to make this stew this weekend for my bookclub.

  • That's a shitload of butter...

  • @G4Vegan That's the French for you! But it's sooooo goooood....

  • You bet it's thick,

  • Howcast videos are so useless now.

    /the actual problem with howcast

  • Step one: Go to bank, get cash

Step two: Go to nice restaurant

Step three: Digest meal you did not spend 9 hours preparing and relish in the fact that you do not need to wash all those pots and pans

  • Holy shit...looks good but who has time for something like this!??

  • @dragonflask It's kind of "housewife" food, not really practical for a modern family. However, I take the time on weekends to try and cook something like this because I find it somewhat cathartic.

  • Omg! I just saw Julie&Julia last night and wanted this recipie... but it looked easier in the movie :-p.

  • While I love cooking, this looks way too complicated for my taste.

  • 1) A suggestion - would it be possible to add links to text files for how-tos like these? I'd love to try them, but the video format alone confuses me.

    2) She didn't just aspire to be a spy. She actually WAS a spy at one point.

  • too many ingredients

  • brandy is out of the question for me, I don't drink much alcohol

  • @WillyM79

the alcohol is evaporated you really just get the flavor of the ingredients its spiced with...

  • This is great with a pinch of horse semen....

  • Looks good...but too much salt and butter!

  • How to make poop on a plate.

  • Used to watch her when I was a kid, half the time she was smashed, and it made for a great show.

"...and a little more brandy....a little MORE brandy...."

  • worst recipe.

  • The end product looks kind of scary, but with that much beef, bacon, butter, booze, and potatoes - how can you go wrong?

  • Is it winter right now?

  • Longest Howcast what you need EVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!

  • tell me again why they should be tied.

  • @bononcrusher2 So you can remove them at the end. They're not meant to be in the food when you're eating; they're just there to get the flavour when you're simmering.

  • first OH FUCK YOU ROGTHELEFTY
