Is the recipe from The Gourmet Cookbook? It's almost identical, except I believe in that book they don't add beef stock. I want to make this stew this weekend for my bookclub.
@dragonflask It's kind of "housewife" food, not really practical for a modern family. However, I take the time on weekends to try and cook something like this because I find it somewhat cathartic.
1) A suggestion - would it be possible to add links to text files for how-tos like these? I'd love to try them, but the video format alone confuses me.
2) She didn't just aspire to be a spy. She actually WAS a spy at one point.
@bononcrusher2 So you can remove them at the end. They're not meant to be in the food when you're eating; they're just there to get the flavour when you're simmering.
