  • i didn't know you could hit them with a hammer. i was taught to place the wooden part in the palm of your hand and press down, going round and round till the metal was smooshed down. the hammer idea sounds like it would work faster with less stress on your hands. you really have to push HARD when you do it without the hammer... thank you for sharing!
