hes a good drummer dont get me wrong...but the fills he is playing are pretty simple (right, left, bass, bass) or (right, left, right, left, bass, bass) played in 16ths...still hes a good drummer!
if you have garage band you can use them without the DM5...you just need to download gamepad companion then trigger the kits on gb...really nice samples. That's why I'm looking around at stuff. I want to record drums, but I have a kit similar to this and it's just kind of big for my tiny apartment. If you def want a full sized electronic drum kit though there are some good deals out there on musicians friend or craigslist and GC. Alesis is the best brain, but roland and yamaha are good too.
i no the ions cost $299 but does that include the alesis DM5 module thing or whatever? like with that $299 can i just play rock band or can i play it like an e-drum set, or does that cost more?
Nope, alesis DM5 have to be bought apart for another 300$.. so thats 600$ in total, then u need an amp to actually HEAR somthing.. which will be like 100$ thats 700$ to have a good gear.. Kinda out of my budget..
300 for the kit, 50 for an extra cymbal, 350 for the module, 300 for the amp....1000 dollars and the kit isn't even dual trigger or pressure sensitive. but right now i have the ion kit with a roland pdx-8 snare pad ;)
It may not be dual trigger, but it definetly is velocity sensitive. FYI you can add more trigger pads.. ex: dual trigger snare/cymbals. You then would have 4 toms that dont need to be dual trigger anyway. If its still popular after 15 yrs you know its a solid module.
u need to play this as an e-drums....rock band dont justify it....its better than alot of kits i think and solid!!!!! hi gat pedal is the one it comes with, u need to get the roland v-drum k8 kick trigger and a chain driven kick pedal, and eather an extra cymbal expansion or a hi hat trigger, clamps, bracket, but really worth it with the dm5
Hmm. I just got a DM5 and connected it to my ION kit. Everything works except the pedal, which actually won't even trigger when it's plugged into ANY input.
the kit in this video isnt the dm5 its the ion drum rocker, with a 3rd cymbal its about £250 but the best module to use for it is the alesis dm5 wich costs like £180.
quel crétin: aucun intérêt à s'exciter de la sorte......
