We lost brave souls and Pakistan started it everytime, times for Pak to understand Kashmir is part of India, you have POK and china has some parts as well, but tahst where we draw the line any one who comes in with hostile intentions will be dealt with accordingly. We can live in peace if Pak dismantles all of its terror outfits, because they pose a threat to the entire international community.

You can't compare regiments like that, all infantry regiments are have the same standards except the Gurkhas and the Paras. Gurkhas because only one in fifty applicants get chosen, the competition is so high. Even the british still keep their gurkhas. Sikh regiment is a deeply respected regiment, but still an infantry regiment after all, not fucking special forces as some extra zealous and passionate sikhs make it out to be. Yes, there are many sikhs in our special forces and hats off to that.

Sikh Regiment and Sikh Light have 18 battalions each. Punjab regiment is about half Sikh. All together about thirty something battalions. 6 gurkha regiments with 5 to 6 battalions each make for 36. The only army special forces are the para SF battalions, END OF. All infantry regiments, sikh, jat, bihar or gurkha, are regular regiments. Every battalion has a ghatak platoon, which have commando training, that's all. As for Gurkhas, ask any IA officer who he would like to take into war.

We lost brave souls and Pakistan started it everytime, times for Pak to understand Kashmir is part of India, you have POK and china has some parts as well, but tahst where we draw the line any one who comes in with hostile intentions will be dealt with accordingly. You can't compare regiments like that, all infantry regiments are have the same standards except the Gurkhas and the Paras. Gurkhas because only one in fifty applicants get chosen, the competition is so high. Even the british still keep their gurkhas. Sikh regiment is a deeply respected regiment, but still an infantry regiment after all, not fucking special forces as some extra zealous and passionate sikhs make it out to be. Yes, there are many sikhs in our special forces and hats off to that.

Gurkha's were not sold. The British and Indians both had claim over the Gurkhas and a settlement was reached. Gurkhas who wanted to join India or Britain were given a choice. Even the British are raising a Sikh regiment, you will see scores of Sikhs joining once that happens. You can't disrespect Gurkhas for serving the British or Indians. 2.5 million Indians including Sikhs fought for Britain in WW-2, would you call that SOLD? Sikh regiment fights for India because they are proud Indians.

Sikh Regiment and Sikh Light have 18 battalions each. Punjab regiment is about half Sikh. All together about thirty something battalions. 6 gurkha regiments with 5 to 6 battalions each make for 36. The only army special forces are the para SF battalions, END OF. All infantry regiments, sikh, jat, bihar or gurkha, are regular regiments. Every battalion has a ghatak platoon, which have commando training, that's all. As for Gurkhas, ask any IA officer who he would like to take into war.
