  • A day without Bergkamp is a day living in Hell. Arsenal's Number Ten, Big Den at the End North London is so much quieter without you. Sorely missed. The greatest centre forward...ever!

  • C.Ronaldo you're a robot, Messi you're going too fast to have class, sorry but MR Dennis Bergkamp had what you both will never have: wonder class with the ball!

The goal vs Argentina in 98 will stay my best football moment ever, I was seven when i saw that but it was just surreal! an artist!

  • best video i have ever watched as an arsenal fan

  • xavi+iniesta+kaka+cr7= BERGKAMP

  • Bergkam > Zidane. thumps up if you agree

  • @KingDcome11 i'll never agree actually...I love bergkamp but Zidane (that's impossible)

  • @MrJoseph1966 Bergkamp is better than Zidane..sorry to break it off to you,

  • @KingDcome11 man okay that's ur pov but i dont see somebody is making thumbs up........Zidane was the reason for france to win world cup in 1998 and Euro in 2000 and get to the final in 2006 WC france was the best when he came and became the shittiest when he resigned football....he was the reason for 2002 champions league and the la liga when barcelona atheltico madrid and Valencia were at the best besides to zaragoza.......won 3 times world player..Bergkamp is awesome BUT ZIDANE

  • @MrJoseph1966 france world 1988 world cup because of all the players, henry, petit, pires, thuram, viera, anelka, karembeu, . It wasn't b.c of him it was b.c that team was amazing. barcelona wasn't that good in 2002. Plus he was shit im bordexu ( compared to when he played surrounded by the best players)

  • I dont understand why he isnt more highly regarded. These touches are so perfect. That assist to Ljunberg was just inspired magic. Bergkamp was not as good as Zidane but I dont think the gap was as massive as people seem to think. Both played the game prettier than anyone else

  • I support Liverpool, but this man is a footballing god. Better than Fowler and any other Liverpool striker. He is so underrated! Just because he did not score as many goals as he could've. Fact is, he was unselfish, and never took the credit as he gave it to Henry on a plate. Yes, Henry was great, but without Bergkamp, there would be no Henry. I used to call Bergkamp 'the flying ghost', because he would appear out of nowhere. Only Scholes matches Berkamp's vision.

    Thanks for the memories!

  • 2:06 - 2:11 is just magic

  • 100% shot accuracy

  • the most underated player in the history ill never forget the goal against argentina in 98 what a classic. better than van basten by far

  • I swear he must have scored the most lob goals in history

  • Surely one of the most underrated players of all time, and he was world class WITHOUT behaving like an arrogant bastard earning millions for showing up...

  • some twat on talksport had the nerve to say 'Kun Aguero is better than Bergkamp'. Last time I listen to that twaddle.

  • @zxzxcxcxa I don't agree. I've seen Bergkamp do things that Messi never has and probably never will. The proof of it is all over YouTube. The most beautiful goals ever, genius touch and control, fantastic vision. To me he definitely is something else. But no offense meant. Everybody has his favourites. Love Messi too.

  • best player to have worn the arsenal shirt, my favourite player in fact it is because of him that i started supporting arsenal. best player to have played in the premierleague full stop no argument there, best player in history you could argue but for us arsenal fans well he is. and noukster81 fu$k u i bet you don't know the difference between football and basketball or you're a tottenham fan who is still hurt by some of his goals and in that case well thanks for spending 6:27 min on our legend

  • Berkamp and Cruyff Best Dutch Players Ever!

Dont forget the dutch have great players.. in my opion most of the best players!

  • @Lizzio1980

Sorry, but Van Basten was the closest Dutch player to Cruijff, seriously. If only he could have played at its peak, what a shame.

Cruijff though, easily the best Dutch player, technique wise but also tactically, and Cruijff created total football with Rinus Michels so that makes Cruijff acutally a very unique player.

  • @alex4allofyou Thats your opion i think Bergkamp and Cruijf where on the same level. Cruijf was just more known.

Did you actually ever exerpienced these players play soccer..

    I am from Holland btw

  • @Lizzio1980

I saw Van Basten en Bergkamp really play, Van Basten being better. According my parents, who where at the 74 half final, Cruijff was of the chart even to them.

It is common knowledge also I think that Cruijff is the best football player of Holland, just like it is that Rembrandt is the biggest painter, better than Vermeer etc.

And even so, it was FACT that Cruijff (and Van Hanegem) was/were the best player(s) of THEIR era, cannot be said about Bergkamp.

  • @alex4allofyou Yes but i said there all opions nobody is right or wrong.

I simply said Cruijf and bergkamp ''were'' on the same level (according to me)

And i also said Cruijf had a name and when International very fast while Bergkamp stayed in Holland for a long time.

  • @Lizzio1980

I really do not understand you can say that he was on the same level, he wasn't, and it only shows how talented and special Cruijff was.

And b.t.w. Cruijff was more than only a technical player, he was a leader on the field from 16yr old and trainer off field, with Oranje, Ajax and Barca and made them what they are today: he single handedly created Total Football with Michels.

Bergkamp was everything but a leader, very respected yes, but never a real leader.

  • @alex4allofyou Zzzz... i dont think you know what a ''OPION'' is...

Why do more people agree with me then you.. look on the top comment people say that Bergkamp is better while i disagree i am neutral and saying they are both the best.

Who cares who the leader is and not to forget bergkamp was a leader! In Arsenal and Ajax.

AGAIN THIS IS MY OPION YOU CAN LIKE WHATEVER YOU WANT!

  • @Lizzio1980

Because you do not understand statistics, when you go to a Ronaldo yt-clip you will find a lot of people that think Ronaldo is better than Messi, which offcourse is bs as well.

When you say he was on the same level it is wrong, that is no opinion, if you tell me WHY he was it is. Being a great footballplayer isn't only how you handle balls or how fast you can run, it is the whole picture. Leadership is also an important trait.

    I CAN HEAR YA !!!

  • @alex4allofyou I said i think bergkamp is equal to cruijf (THIS IS MY OPION) its the same if i say i dont like the color red.

If you want to be techically about it.. i think Cruijf was more a messi kind of type (fast sprints and great ball control) and Bergkamp had the whole picture + kicks and technique.

You can disagree on me and many people can so but this still dosn't change my opion about the both players. How hard you are going to shout.

  • @Lizzio1980

Well, I see why you think this way when you compare him with Messi and not players like Zidane. Cruijff, Van Basten and Bergkamp are all more like Zidane than Messi, smart tactical players with lots of technique and finesse. But not explosive like Maradonna or Messi. But ok, if you see it that way, your call.

One thing, you do know right that Bergkamp and Van Basten both got schooled by Cruijff at Ajax right?

  • @alex4allofyou Schooling someone dosnt means anything sometimes the students is better then the teacher or ''becomes'' better.

Also i said ''Cruijf'' looks more like a messi typ not bergkamp.

  • @Lizzio1980

But isn't it funny how the best strikers we ever had both got schooled by Cruijff?

It also says something about that leadership I told you about, I mean, Cruijff at 16 had nobody teach him anything, he was confident and a true natural leader.

I think it is saying that Cruijff was faster than Bergkamp, even though football in his days wasnt as explosive as is now. His passing was like Messi yes, but balltechnique like Bergkamp, Dutch class football isn't like Maradonna / Messi.

  • @alex4allofyou Its also funny how you said that your ''parents'' watched them play and now you are correcting me?

I was a big fan of bergkamp and cruijf when they first played in the ''Eredivise'' Bergkamp was always the leader of each club he went to so your making false statements here.

  • @Lizzio1980

I said that about Cruijff, what can I say, I wasn't born in 74. That doesn't mean I don't know what I am talking about. If you haven't seen Mozart you cannot enjoy his music?!?

Bergkamp was more like a sfinx, like I said, Bergkamp was very respected because of his skills and professional attitude, but never a real leader. When Cruijff went to a club, he owned it.

    Inter?

  • @alex4allofyou Thats funny i remember Bergkamp ''owned'' ajax and arsnel when playing there.

Also i dont care about your opion like i said before everyone's opion is difrent and i can belief and think whatever i want to belief and think.

If i say i ''belief'' that bergkamp and cruijf are equal in soccer let me be?

I am sure there are people who will disagree and people who will agree like on the top comments.

  • @Lizzio1980

Yes he owned, but that is not the same as being a leader, sigh, everybody listened to Bergkamp yes, but not because of his leadership but because of his class.

Never heard the story of Bergkamp at Oranje 98? He thought the semi-final was already great and chickened out against Brazil. He told he was sick of nerves and thats why he didn't play a great match.

Let me be clear, I love that about that man, but a leader? No. And MORE leadership than Cruijff, lol.

  • @Lizzio1980

And dude, NEVER , I say NEVER use the term soccer! It is FOOTBALL.

I truly hate that name, it was made up by Americans who name it that way because their (much younger) sport has a peanut as a ball and it gets kicked ONCE.

It is truly a name I will never use for the beautiful game, neither should you '-)

  • ok player, not so special

  • Fantastic player!

  • The last goal against Argentina - the touch, turn and finish.. at a world cup.. under such pressure. Says it all really.

  • the goal at 1:50, thats just not fair

  • KING OF THE DEATH TOUCH

  • SUPERSTAR

  • Arsenal and Holland's greatest striker

  • qual o nome dessa musica ?

  • just a crack... a wonderboy that gave us years n years of chivalry, years of true football

  • I'm a die hard Man Utd fan and even this beauty of a video waters my eyes. He had a whole team that played by his style and actually won league titles. Arsenal just don't look the same without the greats and Highbury.

  • Netherlands has so many underated players! David for example, when he landed in Barza it was cause of him that Barza again was going up but all the people only remember is Dinho, who is a great player but when Davids entered he wasn't doing so well in Barza, David putted attitude and courage to the team imo. Bergkamp was an incredible player, such ball control, amazing! only thing i don't like is that seems he didn't use too much his left foot hehe

  • Name of the song anyone?

  • @GameJoable Era - The Champions

  • Best attacking player ever i history! Bergkamp lives forever in

    Arsenal!

  • Excelente jugador!

  • beste nederlandse voetballer

  • Legend !!!

  • sorry to be that guy, but what is the name of that first song.

  • And the best of him is that he never got arrogant

  • Ah, takes me back when football wasn't all about money, the days....

  • amazing player!!!

  • one of the better, thanks :)

    Amsterdam

  • its like seeing zidane playing as a striker, unbelievable

  • @Sebfootball dude stop lying to ur self and others i created this video n still in my computer make sure i dont see it in any chanel on youtube Copy right will be deleted by the Admin

  • So Beautiful. T_T

  • 3:05 players got raped

  • How can talksport say Aguero is better than Bergkamp . How can they then say the current city team are better than the invincibles . Get it right ! Bergkamp is in a class of his own .

  • The goal Bergkamp scored against the Argentinians in 1998 was definitely one of the best World Cup goals ever!

  • Best footballer ever to me better than cruyff, pele, diego, messi or anyone

    by far!!!!

His technique= way better than Ronaldiho, zidane etc.

His vision = way better than Laudrup, xavi, inesta

his speed = like usain bolt.

    His shooting = like snijder

his creativity = like no one else

    Best player ever to me!

  • @BudoRuben lisen...you gone way over the top. im a united fan.. bergkamp got agreat touch, pass.. ect.. but not better creative than xavi or iniesta ,, and you compare him to messi????? come on .. messi is out of this world, and him and zidan were both great technically

  • @lmfaoatthat heres a joke.

messi walks into a bar and sees a hot babe so he puts the moves on her. its all good and he takes her back to his place. so as its getting pretty hot messi tells the girl to go to the bedroom while hes getting ready. The girls screams and as messi comes she tells him she dosent do that kind of stuff

Messi replies "oh thats Xavi and iniesta i cant preform without them"

  • @BudoRuben he was special. never scored a ugly goal in his life. great ball control great finishing technieques one of my favorites. but that about zidane is not true. zidane was the best ever. his vision in the game his calmness in the field just watch zidane man he was the best

  • @BudoRuben As an Arsenal fan, I have to agree with you saying his one of the best players ever, not only for Arsenal, but in the world. I guess Henry was voted the best player ever for Arsenal, all because of the goals he scored. But in my mind, I believe Henry would have maybe not as been as Amazing, if it wasn't for Bergkamp's genius. God only knows, how many assists Bergkamp gave Henry back then. I am guessing he assisted Henry with a lot of his goals back then? Henry was great to though lol

  • @BudoRuben agree with the most apart from the vision. i wouldnt say he had better vision than laudrup, find them equal

  • @Frankgard1 I can live with that.

  • @BudoRuben HE WAS A GOOD PLAYER BUT A BIT TO FAR TO SAY HE HAD BETTER TECHNIQUE THEN RONALDINHO LOOOOL OR EVEN ZIDANE HE WAS MAYBE ON THEIR LEVEL BUT NOT TECHNICALLY BETTER THEN THEM 2 SORRY

  • @THEJACKSONVILLE1200

Bergkamp had technique like Zidane, not Ronaldinho.

Personally I like the first two a lot better, I prefer players that are complete, not only on a technical level. And the technique used by Zidane and Bergkamp where more simple yet did the same job of the energy-driven antics of Ronaldinho, less with more, that is imo real genious.

  • @BudoRuben His shooting = like snijder you forgot way better there

  • Last=best

  • wow..all of his goal awesomes..how could he not won the fifa player of the world once??

  • only zidane beats this guy on technique. amazing player. very underrated unfornately.

  • want some salt with them chips??

  • Name of the song, please?

  • I know rape is wrong and all but damn it looks so sexy when Dennis does it.

  • a fucking legend

  • jammer dat hij "na" mijn tijd was

  • best

  • if Dennis would still be playing for the netherlands there would be no doubt they would have won the worldcup 2010 ..

  • @paddo158 at his old form yes, this day and age not so sure.

  • He was a dutch MAESTRO !!!

  • whats the first song??

  • Comment removed

  • Id rather have Bergkamp and Heskey as strikers than Ronaldo and Messi combined

  • @udayaai

Bergkamp is an amazing player, one of my faves.. He's pretty underrated if you ask me. But that comment is nuts!!

  • @udayaai thats why ur not a football manager :P

  • I'm Argentine, it's supposed that i must hate him, but,Damn! I fucking Love it! Bergkamp forever!

  • is it just me,or do all see that players just 5-10 years ago look weaker and smaller then today's player?the game is taken to a new level losing its beauty

  • 3:03-3:18 he fucked all brazilian football players in a few seconds..

  • @timsalto Those are south korean players, dude.

  • @sdencer1 yeah i know... i meant his moves are way better than any brazilian player has ever done

  • his last catch is awesome, tell me which player nowadays can do that ?

  • He's proof that close-control is more efficient that raw pace, which is why English football is struggling internationally and the Spanish are dominating. We value exciting pace whilst the Spanish appreciate technique more, and unfortunately for us, technique is more effective. We could learn from some Dutch total football.

  • The master of The First Touch, Master of Chipping, The Flying Dutchman, The Myth, the Man, the Legend, i miss you Bergkamp i wish more of the Dutch played like you!

  • he really liked to tip the ball han .. anyway fantastic player ! i still wait for some players with so much ball control .. like him, zidane

  • i still have an arsenal shirt with his name on it

  • the best!

  • He is awesome... Todays soccer, needs more players like him...

  • :S how comes he aint talked about as one of the greatest players!? Should be in everyones top 5 without a doubt. Only player that can see something in his head and do it with his feet. Absolutely fantastic

  • he is like Captain Tsubasa of real world, apsolutely the best (Y)

  • Incredible control, astounding touch, not many like the Dutch Master - everyone wants to walk it in or pile-drive it.

  • WTF 37 dislikes??? FUCKIN RETARDS!

  • @00:11 "Get off me bitch!"

  • kien es messi ??? miren y disfruten,,,,,,, who is messi?? watch and enjoy

  • 5.41 sick control!!!!

  • Write not so much people..Dennis is a briljant player
